In the next episode, you will hear from one of my Patreon members, Haley Ward, who became a Private Investigator, to get answers about the suspicious death of her 20-year-old cousin, Dani Jo Smith of Longview, TX. Dani was a confident and vivacious young woman who went for an ATV ride on the night of July 18, 2014, with her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Jeff Wellborn. Unfortunately, Dani never made it home. Dani died in the hospital that night from a gunshot wound to her head, which was ruled a suicide. Many questions surrounded her death. Why were there three possible crime scenes? Why were none of the other ATV riders interviewed? How could she have shot herself while reclined in a car seat with a seatbelt on? Why would a former Marine who served two tours in Iraq confuse the sound of a gunshot, thinking it was a firecracker?
