Episode description

I had an interesting conversation with myself, out loud and in my head, while I was making an omelet.

And it had to do with time.

I don't know about you, but my mind seems to surf time continually. One moment I'm present, the next moment I'm somewhere in the past or I jump to the future (I'm like a mental Doctor Who).

Sometimes I'm in the past, present, and future at the same time (work that one out).

Anyway, in this particular instance, I found myself about 28 years in the past. I was remembering a friend I haven't seen since our Infantry Officers Basic Course. And it occurred to me that in the present, I only know this person as they were in the past.

Then I suddenly became aware that I know "myself" - the "I" that is "me" as seen through the filter of a past "self." (as I write this, I'm beginning to wonder if there was something in those eggs 😂))

OK, I'll stop there, otherwise, this intro is going to end up being longer than the actual audio I'm sharing with you. 😳

Have a listen.

I'm curious to know, what timeframe your "I" is locked in.
