From the New Living Translation O Lord , you have examined my heart and know everything about me . You know when I sit down or stand up . You know my thoughts , even when I'm far away . Have you ever felt invisible Like your struggles , joys and pains are lost in the shuffle of everybody else's needs .
¶ Psalm 139: He Knows Your Name
Sometimes we wonder if anybody truly sees or understands us at all . The truth the Psalms reveal is clear You're not invisible to God ever . Psalm 139 beautifully tells us that God knows every detail of your life , even your smallest thoughts . He sees your triumphs
¶ Finding Comfort in Being Known
and your failures , your laughter and your tears , your hopes and your fears . There's nothing about you hidden from him . And the most beautiful thing , knowing all this , he still loves you deeply . You don't need to pretend with God . You don't need to hide your brokenness to your questions . You don't need to hide your questions .
He knows you fully and completely and still calls you by name , knows you fully and completely and still calls you by name . There's immense comfort in being truly known . It means you're never misunderstood or forgotten by your Heavenly Father . It means that in the loneliest seasons , you're still deeply connected to God , who created you and values you so much .
So today , take comfort and strength from this truth . Wherever you are , whatever you're facing , you need to remember that you're known , loved and treasured by God . You're not just another face in the crowd . To Him , you're His child , personally known , intentionally created and profoundly loved . Let your heart rest in that assurance . Today . Pray with me , father .
God , thank you that you see me and know me completely . Help me remember that I'm never invisible to you .
