New Living Translation Trust in the Lord with all your heart . Do not depend on your own understanding . Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take . Now we all crave direction . We want answers , clear signs
¶ Day 168: Rooted in Wisdom
, step-by-step maps . But God rarely works like that , because what he wants more than your arrival is your dependence . Solomon tells us not to lean on our own understanding . That's hard when we think we have a good plan , but what seems right to us isn't always wise . God's
¶ Trusting God's Direction
ways are higher and often slower and quieter or more difficult than we would choose . Rooted wisdom comes from trust , not just knowledge . It's found when you seek God , not just ask him for approval on what you've already decided , and when you do that he makes the path clear , one faithful step at a time .

Don't rush the journey . Seek him deeply . Trust him fully . Wisdom takes root when you lean on the one who knows the way . Pray with me , father . God , I want to walk in wisdom , not just good ideas . Help me stop leaning on
