Pakistan finish on a high and Sky open up the final

There was to be no miracle at Lord’s, Pakistan missing out on a place in the semi-finals to New Zealand on net run-rate. But they did at least finish with a rousing victory over Bangladesh at Lord’s, Imam-ul-Haq hitting his first hundred of the tournament and the teenage left-arm quick Shaheen Shah Afridi taking record-breaking figures of 6-35. Jo Harman is joined by Elizabeth Ammon of The Times to analyse Pakistan and Bangladesh’s contrasting campaigns, and react to the news that the World Cup final will be shown live on a free-to-air platform, on the proviso that England qualify for it.
