Being marriage first means that we believe one of the best things that we can do for our kids is to have a strong marriage. It provides them safety, stability and, hopefully, an example for later in life. And, it provides us the relationship that we dreamed of when we got married and vowed to try and create.
Why be marriage first?
- Having kids certainly changes your marriage, but it doesn’t (or shouldn’t) redefine it
- When you’ve seen divorce, you see the work it takes to make marriage work very differently
