The widow is a changed person and goes through a long period of inner anger, bitterness, confusion - if you meet a widow as a new friend, realize the person you are connecting with is not exactly herself at the moment.  In addition to the initial state of shock that widows experience, there is a continued very high stress level and many obstacles coming from all directions.
