Hello everybody. My name is Ron Porter. I am a seasoned former bi vocational business owner and Christian leadership trainer, adult bible teacher, church consultant, life coach, denominational board member, regional board chairman, and church elder chairman, all during my life's journey in three Christian denominations, in small, medium, and large churches. Currently retired, I drive part time for Uber and Lyft, providing transportation for a vast eclectic group of passengers ranging from rocket scientists to drug addicts and everyone in between. In many conversations, they inform me of what they believe.
Some are atheists, Christians, Muslims, and a vast array of folks with different religious beliefs and or doubts. I also have a good friend, Chris, who is a former Christian pastor who is now an atheist. I have spent thousands of hours of combining the content of my conversations with Chris, my many passengers, my own reflections on my own life experiences, and my desire to search for the answer for the reason for humanity's existence. All of it has inspired me to write this book of my journey that would equip me and other Christians to better defend or discuss what I or what we believe. I thought it best to uncover the origins of many other religions and their sense of beliefs.
