Being born and growing up in the civil rights movement era, Professora Bernadette Robinson suffered a lot from racism and bullying. Professora Robinson started her journey looking at stick figures on books to practice Judo techniques just not feel helpless anymore. Martial Arts gave her the confidence that she doesn’t need to be afraid anymore.
