I can't breathe because my pants are too tight. Wait can I button my pants? Like? Cal? Would that be weird? Wind down with Janet Kramer and I heard radio podcast We're We're just saying. I know we're on location right now in after dark. I feel like we need to cheer. Okay literally, Oh did you guys hear that? So we are winding down in Pebble Beach, California. Uh, for the what's it called the pro am? Yeah? Golf super stoked. I just learned what a pin was. It's a flag. Apparently,

I don't know. I just wanted to start off saying them because I've gotten a lot of hate about the fact that people think that I belittle my husband so and that I'm too hard on my husband. I should just let it go, and so I just wanted to apologize to Michael again on air. I apologize on my Instagram. But we are he year for him because I do love my husband. That is why we are here. It's because to celebrate him and golf and Honey, I'm not gonna drug you through the mud anymore unless it's to

help people. Because that's why we wanted to talk about it in the first place and such, and I'm learning about what I'm right, Yeah, this like no, this is a this is a thing. I'm like, we're golfing, baby, let's do it. Okay. So maybe you've considered a sleep number bed but thought you couldn't afford one. But can you really afford another restless night's sleep? Okay? I always say that, Honestly, I've said this so many times in this podcast, but it's so true. You spend half your

life in bed? Is it half further? I think it's still a half. I mean depending, some people sleep twelve hours and I Sarah sleeps twelve hours children, So I'm like out, like like like what does that feel like? Sarah? So I just think that you need to spend money on a great mattress. But here's the thing with sleep number again, with your sleeping, Well, Sarah spends half her life in bed. Most people spent a third of their life. But you you really need to buy yourself a quality mattress.

And that's what sleep number is. So right now, during the ultimate sleep number event, a Queen three sixty smart bed starts at only eight ninety nine, And I'm telling you, guys, you have to get a great mattress. Because if you get a great mattress and you spend the money in a great mattress, they're gonna last you. I promise you. So Many couples disagran mattress firmness. Michael likes more firm

I like softer. But Sleep Number beds let you choose your ideal firmness on each side so it fits right for both of you. Um, they're smart. They sense every move. Basically, you can do the jump test with the wine, but you can keep you comfortable throughout the night. Sleep Number has been ranked the highest and customer satisfaction by mattresses by JD Power, coming during the Ultimate Sleep Number event and say fifty on a Sleep Number three sixty limited

edition smart bed. Sleep Number is the official sleep and wellness partner of the NFL. You only find Sleep Number at one of their five seventy five Sleep Number stores nationwide. Visit sleep number dot com slash Jana to find the one nearest you. Chris Harrison freak, Chris freaking Harrison. Hey Chris, how are you bed sit right here? No? That was not the use it on my lap? Used it on my lap? Is Sarah? Sorry? I really have to put stupid headphones on you next to me. Well, that's true.

Why we have headphones on because we're taking col Hey Chris, Uh, where's your drink? Uh, it's over there, it's on you, it's it's by your bed. So this is our first time, I guess technically drinking on the podcast. And I would just like to straight up say you might not know that often do it in your bedroom. I've never been drunk before. Thank you. That look Chris gave is what I say. And I've been with you for like four years an now, never been drunk. Never, I've never had

the spins. I've never had anything. But why know what Sarah wanted to ask about that? Have you ever had a drink? Oh? Yeah, I see you look, and I'm drinking right now. I just stop at two glasses anxiety. Her definition of drunk is like wasting spinning. I think is drunk. But I've never had spins. I get I get a little. They don't get any of that. What does blotted me? Okay? But but you wanted to ask a question about I forgot. Oh yeah, so my first question,

how let's just go right in? No, how do you get them? So drunk, not you specifically, Um, how do they get so drunk? Like, how do you get drunk? No? No, no, we're speaking on like specifically. Sorry the show now, but it's it's if you get drunk, it's really the same process. No, you don't have everything choice. One of the great things about alcohol, drugs, let me take your back whatever it is,

it it really is a microcosm of life. Look, if you're the idiot that on night one gets spinny or blottoed, drunk, whatever phrase you kids like to use, um, then that that's something as as a bachelor bacherette, that's something I wouldn't want to know. If I'm dating and I go out with you and you're puking in the parking lot after dinner because you just plowed through a bottle of wine, that's something I want to see. So if you want to drink on night one night to whenever knock yourself out,

you can do that. Or there's a ton of people that don't really. Yeah, for example, you're more fun when you drink. No, I'm not. I'm I'm way not more fun, way not very defensive. I'm wait at mar fun. No I'm not, I'm not more fun drunk. I'm actually more emotional when I drank wine. Les cry a lot. You want to talk about it besides the whole drunk thing, What what's the drama between the North Carolina South Carolina pageant queens? You know, I would love to tell you

there's this great story, and I really don't think there is. Really. I think it's beauty pageant drama, which probably isn't really that sexy and deep. Um. Whether your team Hannah or team Klina, one of that's calin like her. So she either one or finished, finished second or third, you know, fifth runner up, you know how they do that in pageants? Um. And then the other one didn't clap or something. It wasn't happy, wasn't happy enough for her? I think, is

this is how the story goes? This sounds about right the course and what dateline did a story or something and uncovered I don't know no, but that I think that it might be as deep as that, um that they were girls, and there are rumors that it goes deeper than that, and it goes to some other stories and emotional stuff. But it might just be that she didn't clap, im like I mean that that's that's pretty. That's that's not good. You know, I did I did

you ever do a beauty pageant? Mike, Sarah? Have you because I'm from Texas like it was in beauty pageants? No where are you from Texas? San Antonio counts? I have an I have an ex wife from there? You do? And you have a bar there Barn Dallas, Barn Dallas, ex wife from San Antonio. New girlfriends good a country song. I saw that as weekly. I go, oh, you can have that. But he's got a girlfriend. Thank you, Barn Dallas and ext wife and Santa. That's a great, sir,

that's very George. Can we talk about girlfriend? I mean I probably won't, but tell me all about her? How long? Where? When'd you meet? How did you meet her? Um? We met years ago? Really you're no longer a bachelor. We'll see how she being on the show? What's that? How is she like with you being on the show around all these beautiful women? Fine? I mean you know she, uh, we met years ago because she covers the show UM

for Entertainment Tonight and so. But it was it was really interesting that we never really had a serious personal conversation for years. Um, I do a ton of interviews. Obviously been doing this for seventeen years, and I hate to say this, but a lot of times I just you just get in the mode and you're just going and blow you know how it is, and you're just you're not even really paying attention to who who's interviewing you. You're just giving the answers you're supposed to give, and

you're moving on. Um. And then we finally actually had a real conversation. Okay, it was great. At what point do you get to the place like, was it assion a discussion between you and her of Okay, we're going to be public about this. It was one of you kind of pushing each other more for that or was it a mutual decision that you guys kind of came to It was a little bit. It was more on her end, just because I have the ability to not care to a certain degree a lot more than she does.

I've been doing this for seventeen years, and I mean, honestly, if it comes out i'm dating who does like like, really, it's not gonna hurt me, um, and so like fine, fire me, um, but no, it's it's so why would be fired? And I'm just kidding. I'm just That's my My point is, it just doesn't matter for me, you know,

bar unless it's something scandalous or crazy or whatever, who cares. Um. I think for her, I think, you know, with her career and being a journalist and being good at what she does, and she is exceptional at what she does, she just was very you know, cogns into the fact that you know, she didn't want it to be misconstrued and you know, and anybody to think ill of it,

and um. And so I just respected that. It was great and honestly, that was the best way to go about it for quite some time, was to just enjoy your lives. And I'm such a private guy anyway. My my private life has always tried I've tried to keep it so even when I was married, after my divorce whatever. I just I have my my kids and my my family and what I do on air and the shows I host, the shows I produce and all that, UM

is great. I don't mind being out there in front of it, but my private life I've just kind of kept off the pages and it's worked well. Is it hard though? Being around I mean, I know the Bachelor has twenty five beautiful women. But I mean you're also around that too, So is that hard to then kind of be like, oh, there's something shining and bright over there, there's something shining and bright over there. Well, again, with

age comes wisdom. Um. And I'm smart enough to know I was married for a long time and have dated now for you know, almost a decade too, and the grass is never greener. So it's it's I'm so beyond that in my life. Um. And so now it's you know, it wasn't a problem when I was married, when a problem post marriage? Um, and obviously not a problem now.

Do you think because you've been doing it for seventeen years you kind of I don't mean it's in a disrespectful way, but dehumanize the whole aspect where you're you're there for work, you do know, and and and it's it's a good point. It's it's more so because people have alway has asked me about this. Hey, it's not like we're all hanging around like this, sitting around drinking wine and sitting around in a hot tub. Nine times out of ten, I am more worried about what we're

getting because it's it's my livelihood. This is my job, and is this is a baby I created seventeen years ago. I was trying to make good TV and if and whatever I can do to that end, that's what I'm doing. Um and and to your kind of what you said, it sounds terrible, dehumanizes it, but yeah, you don't look at everybody is people And there's a couple of people in this room right now. And it's funny because I've gotten to know both of them much better and become

friends after the show. I wasn't friends with them on the show because that's not what you're doing, and you're not even having that personal conversation and really getting to know them. You're just you're You're doing what you need to do to create good TV. And then afterwards I often meet a lot of these guys and women am

like wow, like you're you're really cool. Do you ever feel bad though you hear them in the wrong direction, like if you ever felt bad that you maybe put words in their mouth or maybe like hey, maybe you should do this to make the good The only time I really felt bad, and I mean, I'm sure if I thought more over seventeen years. But Ashley A. Bear Um had this dude on her show, some Canadian guy name escapes me, what was his name? He he had

a girlfriend back home or something. I forget what the story was, and we just let it go a little too long and trying to let her find it out. Naturally, I should have stepped in a little sooner and and helped her and pushed her and pulled the plug because she was started. She started to fall for the guy, and so it hit her kind of hard. I mean, look, it all ended up great, and her and yeah, and and I ended up marrying them, um, and so it

all ended up great, and we're all good friends. I just wish and I told her, I wish I had stepped in a little earlier and not been you know, because what we try to do is let people figure out for themselves, right right, Well, yes, and but it's also there is this weird gray line that we've always never wanted to cry loss was say, say Colton, for example, right now, where you're hearing and seeing stuff on camera,

he's not. People often say, well, why don't you just go tell him, Like, well, that's not the way it's supposed to go. It's not you know, if if I'm just tattle telling on everybody, and it's it's not going to work that way. So you want him to discover all this stuff as much as possible on his own. But with Ashley, I should have stepped in a little earlier. Is it the most dramatic season ever? Pretty freaking good? Why does he jump over the thing? You can't tell me, Henny,

Why does a Colton jump over the fence? Yeah, to get away from the Harrison. Because I thought, and I was like, oh, I want to watch. Just honestly, I wasn't that interested this season. Just I don't know why. I just kind of wasn't. Maybe because we're busy, I don't know. I just wasn't watching. But then I saw that preview and I was like, oh, it's a good season. I mean the ratings were up here now, we're up

here today. We were crushing America's Got Talent Now number one show on Monday, So it's the show is doing phenomenally well again. Still, I mean, how many years can it go? Eventeen years and it'll go I mean, honestly, it's not go anywhere. Do you think it can go on another fifteen years? The only thing that will take this show down. And I've always said this would be a catastrophic event some some incidents some whatever where on the show. Yeah, well yeah, around the show or whatever.

Because we have our base. Even when you have a season that's not highly rated, we still have our core and it does well. Then there are seasons that really peak, like Colton seems to be doing and we're trending up every week now with him, and once we get to

this point, we're not going anywhere this season. It's it's fun when you get a season like this because when you're trending up and we from hour to hour to hour and week to week, it's only gonna go higher and you're just gonna see how high is it gonna go? And that's the fun. Those are the fun seasons. Then there's those seasons when you're like, oh god, when will it be over? Yeah, and you're like, shiny object, look over here. No one. Pablo was a well that that's

that's another misnoverer. People, well is a person When I let him date my dog her sister brother, no, I would not. I don't think he was a gentleman. I don't think he was particularly kind to the women. Um and I had issue with a lot of it and I told him about it, and um, but TV wise, as a producer's gold, he was great. Apathy is what kills me. That's what kills television. Uh. If you don't care, if you don't have an opinion, um, and you're not watching.

If you hate somebody, you love somebody, that's fine. Who do you think the most hated bachelor is out out there? And the most disliked was probably one part about viewership though, who was the least watch them? We know? Lorenzo Borghaze comes to mind. He was the Italian prince and great well, Matt Grant wasn't. Matt Grant was not a bad season the he was London calling, he was British um and then but Lorenzo borghese was kind of this high concept

air to the Borghaze fortune. And if you've ever been to Rome, the Borghaze gardens and museums and his great great whatever's were cardinals, hugely high in the in the Catholic Church. We thought it'd be great, We're taking the show to Rome, and we lived in Italy for the two months and it just didn't. It didn't work just for one reason another do you have any thoughts on who the next bachelor will be from the show for sure,

who do you think would be the time? I'm not gonna actually give them who do you think because you can't because then if someone wins, you can't. But that conversation, I will say this, I think people often think that this decision has already made and or that there is a decision that is kind of you know, where there's this one final decision early on. It is a debate. It really is this ongoing discussion that starts night one.

We're sitting in the back of a garage, which is where we shoot, and we're discussing who the bachelor's going to be, who we think could be good. It's there. There's it's a lot, I mean there you know Mike fly uh, you know who's the creator of the show, Rob Mills, Martin Hilton, executive producer, myself, the other executive producers. We all kind of have our our opinions and and we and you should know we are just as passionate

and emotional as anybody else. We have our favorites that we fight for, and sometimes we get our favorites, and sometimes we don't. Sometimes I am not on board with. Who's someone that you weren't on board with? I would never say that. Well, no, it just drives me crazy. Okay, fine, who do you wish? Who do you wish that would have been on the show? You know? Either one off the top of my head we missed on was Michelle Money? Who is she? Michelle Money from Utah? Should have been

the back money Michelle Money? Can someone pull her? And I don't. She's now odd ironically as we are here a Pebble Beaches dating Mike Weir. She was on Brad Womack season. Oh she's beautiful. Oh I remember she had that, she had the kids, Yes, she has a daughter. Yes, you know I didn't. Awesome and great, great sense of humor, great attitude. And she was actually very disliked. Yeah, that's why because she came off not kind of Yeah, and

then she came on the show. I kind of defended her and helped her show this other side and everyone fell in love with her. And then she went on It was a Paradise, Yeah she was. She was on Paradise and we're in Mexico. And then she ended up with this really big bodybuilder guy and that didn't work out. And then now she's with Mike Weir, But she's one. There was another one I came up with off the top of my head. Um, you know who I thought

would have been good. I don't know where she would have fit because we were on a roll right then. But Claire, I always Claire probably would have been really good TV and a good bat serette. Oh yeah, she's pretty. Yeah, she's cute. I like her. Um, and I was trying to think, guys, yeah, wise like who missed out on being Okay, I don't know if we have been a good bachelor, Like, honestly, do you think, yeah, I don't know. I will come here, come here, Wells. Here's the thing

with Wells. Can I just say this really fast? For Wells, I know I know Wells, and for to you too. Do people go on the show? Like I know that if I went on the show. So if you were the Bachelor, I would want to go on the show, not saying that I wouldn't buy for your heart, but I would want to go to be the next batchelor. Right. Well, that's there. That is a thing. Um. But as far as Wells being the Bachelor, I think he's he's probably a little too level headed and too normal to be

the bachelor. He don't say nice things to me right now. That's just why I don't think you'd be good good enough TV. No, that at all. But I wanted to hear Chris Harrison say, well has been great. That's all I wanted me, just because I wanted to hear it. No, I don't know who do I think is? I think Jordan's would have been a good bachelor Kimball. Yeah, he would have been good night, thank you. He would have been great TV. I could have done a show with him, Yeah,

because he's the like and there there you go. That proves my point. He is the opposite side of the spectrum from Wells. Yes, I mean, but Wells is you know, he's respectable. He can't you kind of remind me of like a Sean No, no, not not in Wells is also a board again virgin No, that's what I meant, not in that area. I mean, Higgins is okay, well with more zero. I don't know who just said that on the open mic, because that was probably the worst comment ever made in the history of I Heart Radio

podcasts Wells and Ben Higgins. All right, you know what nice cute On that note, We're just gonna this is why we don't give Sugarman a mic. No, I'm first, I gotta ask Chris is playing roll in the paramie? All right, let's here, Okay, go ahead, go ahead, baby, I don't want to belittle you, so I hope go ahead. Who's your partner? And that, by the way, that does belittle him right there? What when you're patronizing and you say I don't want to be little? Now here come

the comments again, and she's no, I'm just I'm sarcastic. People, I like, I'm very sarcastic. My husband knows I love him. I don't belittle you at home. I apologize funny that everyone makes comments that and I'm like, no, sarcastic. You know who wears the torn jeans and that family Jesus. Okay, honey, would you like to ask a few questions about golf? And I mean that from like the sweetest part of my soul, which is deep down, but it's there. Who's

your partner right now? My partner is Jose de Jesus Rodriguez. You guys are doing well, aren't you? We were? My my pony broke down a little bit. Today Jose started off with a bang and then uh today he lost was leaking oil. He went two over today we were we were kind of in the mix. Two over. What does that mean? That means not good? You want to be under? Yeah? But yeah, then but I played well today, which is really selfishly all I care about? Um playing

that means a broken leg. Or explain this to the females that are listening that it's not like the golf version of how much you bench bro Yes, that is the golfersion of how much to avenge. We should also sorry about my breath that chocolate, and we should explain that Sarah dates Tie. He is Wayne Gretzky's son. You think, Sarah, do you think? Right? But do you think Sarah would want to mention that, Oh yeah, it's Mary mentioned topping. Sarah can't hide from that, to hide it. It already was.

But I do know that they love you, and you love that. I love they're they're my neighbors. They live very close to me, and yeah, Janet Wayne are good friends and they are amazing people. And their kids watched you yesterday, Hits. What is it? The million dollar? What the million dollar? A little Part three things, Yeah, they are they actually they are very incredibly sweet people, an amazing family. But what is your handicap? Though? So what

does that mean? That means? So every all the wise out there that watch that that are have to watch. Here's here's so if you're well, if you're watching a PG event, those guys are pluses. They're like, so, but let's say the best is a scratch, which means it's a zero. You're just you're playing good enough that you can play straight up golf, no strokes, not anything. When you get a handicap a one to three four, I'm a nine, that means you need strokes, you're not as

good as a pro. So the handicap system just evens the playing field for everybody. So you and I could play golf together. I just heard so like a woman version, it's kind of okay because because guy's version is benching, what's the women's version of for a woman? It's like, okay, do you shop at Like that's not going to go over well, hold on, let me swever. Can you put this in hashtag terms? It's like hashtag blessed or like hashtag winning, like winning, you're a p G a pro

you're blessed. Your hashtag blessed right now? What's hashtag sin nudes? I'd say that's probably like yeah, because you're kind of you. It's a spectrum from so handicap system is hashtag blessed? Really good guys to hashtag sin nudes. I'm I was in the beginning. We just totally figured this out. Okay, okay, let's we're gonna let you go. So, yeah, you go. I'm busy. I gotta play off tomorrow. We are eighty eight balls in the air. What does that mean? I'm kidding.

If you have to ask, you're not doing it right. Goodbye. Okay, guys, So a lot of you, if you're like me, it's hard to sometimes get to a gym. It's you find yourself being lazy and you don't feel like you have a lot of a lot of time in the day. I get it, Okay, I have the same battle that I go through every single day. And but with new it's it's really nice because not only do you have a nutritionalist expert that helps you, a fitness trainer all

in one, there's a community. So if you're not feeling like you want to work out or you need the extra motivation. There's a community behind you at Noon that helps motivate you, that gets you going UM and it keeps you encouraged. And that's what I love about it because I have a hard time just working out on my own, but with new I have someone working out with me. Not only do I feel like there's the members in the community, but there's also the personal trainer.

And I love that about that because I need someone to a keep me accountable, but be also to encourage and to help me work out. So you can take away the agony out of food tracking with one of the biggest food databases available UM. I use Noon post pregnancy to help me get to where I want to be. All I had to do was take a thirty second quiz. They emailed me a custom course that would help me reach the goal that I want. So that's huge again with food UM, they helped me mental wellness eating habits

in what new habits you want? It's literally an online nutritionalist. NUM is designed for your results to meet your resolutions. By signing up for your trial at Noon and O O M dot com slash Janna, what do you Have to Lose? Visit nooon dot com slash Panna to start your child Today. Again, that's Noom dot com slash Janna start losing weight for good. And it's again it's not about just losing weight, it's about becoming a better you. Okay, So we address the belittling thing, which again I am

very sorry and I'm very sarcastic. So I apologize to listeners that I do offend out there because you're not of thelogies say because they say that I'm being too harsh on you, and then some of them are like, I don't want to listen anymore because you BELI like you. You're belittling your husband and your beats. So I don't want them to think that I would you say they do, But I also like, I love you and we like.

That's not like I think for me, I just I try to be funny and sometimes it comes off and I'm very sarcastic, so it can come off a little harsh. So I know, which you know, yes, other people don't know. So I want to apologize for that people think, because that's not I have a really hard time. I don't want people to not like me. I know that's I show start, but I just have a really tough time

with this. When I read these comments, it hurts, you know, I just feel bad because I already know that it doesn't hurt you because you know, we know each other and we play around, doesn't Well, No, last week, yeah, yeah, I know the line and last week was a line, and clearly they saw me address it. Yes, you were hurt, but it was but then it was like figured out by the end, you know what I mean. Like I feel like every time we leave it's like, okay, we're good. Yeah, yeah,

for the most part. But yeah, no, I mean I think it's just again that's sarcasm, and but last week's percent right, like that was that was wrong with me. So I do clearly apologize, but I know, I just I'm just a very sarcastic person and sometimes I get insecure. And that's how that's why trying to know. Mike knows, you know, I know, but everyone else doesn't know. I know.

So there's something else I want to talk about. I'm not really ready to talk about it yet, So we're gonna talk about it at the end of the show because it's it's disturbing. It's disturbing, Yeah, for sure, it's something happened last night, and yeah, it's like, you know, literally it makes me want to throw up. And but I don't want to talk about now because I'm still having a good time, because we're still we're still high, and we're still waiting for time to walk through the

door exactly. So let's go there, you guys. I just like, I don't know you guys, ties here, ties here, tight in the building, is in the building, is like, we just had to steps away. We all should. Mike, you could have to. I just just come like, we're just gonna be talking. You know what. He was scared, heed, No one, I'm scared say it to her. One thousand percent afraid of me. Everybody hates and he goes, oh, he doesn't hate you, he loves you. No. But then

Mike goes, oh, I got your back. I'm like, oh, do you sean to play? And you guys, but time might be walked like doors right now, and you guys will hear a scream if it happens. Okay, So hey, wells babe, come here. Wells Adam, I like that. I have a very hard time. You have a new podcast. We're starting with starting with getting let's get the business out of the way. Bradcast the Hills just coming back. Did you know that? So I was never a Hills girl,

never watched Hill. I'm sorry, that's no. I think it was not my generation. What are you talking about? I feel like we're the same generation. We're not. How old are you? It's not your generation, we're different generations. One year. Jena tells me this all the time, and we're two years apart and three. I'm sorry three, it's three and two months. I'm thirty one, so technically, I'm sorry. Did you watch The Hills? No, that's okay, okay, it's okay for him, it's not for me. It's not okay for you.

I just feel like it was my generation and I was. I was, it was it was it was our generation. I don't think so. Well whatever, it's coming back, right, Yeah? What about the O C? Do you watch that? Wat? Right? So the O C was the amalgamation of that show? Yeah, well came first. The o C came first, and then they made a reality TV show for it called Laguna Beach, and then after that became The Hills. Anyways, the Hills are coming back, that's all that you really need to

know about. I watched Laguna Beach. Okay, that's what that was my generation. That was cavy, that was cavalary. And but then I didn't watch the Hills because that went more Lauren Conrad, right, and I was more of a cavalary. But but but Cavalary took over the Hills in the middle. She did. But at that point I was already I was Beach was my thing, and then I was done. Anyways, it's coming back. That's what you need to know about. This is the important part, all right. But I don't

care that you didn't watch it. I care that you listen to my podcast. Now, that's the important thing. So why are you just a huge Hills fan? I don't even care? When why do you? Why is it called the Pratt Cast when it should be called Wells Hills the Wells No, no, no, no, okay. So Stephanie Pratt, who's Spencer Pratt's brother, her sister, excuse me. Pratt was like the he was g William the wife. Who's the wife? Yes, and she's the one that's something worked on. There's a picture.

What did you say? Nothing? Okay? Well, no, I feel bad because she's not like, but they addressed on the show, so it's totally fine because I think so. Anyways, Um, Steph has a new podcast and were you guys friends? No, not at all, but I feel like that this need why are you doing this good question? And I'm gonna address it right now. A little bit of train wreck and I feel like someone needed to keep her on the rails, which I feel like that's what I am.

So you're because you're great. I'm a conductor. I'm a train conductor. Because you've been doing radio for I was sixteen years old, dude. My first radio shows happened like four miles from where we are right now. Yeah, when I was when I was in high school, I did a radio show at Robert Louis Stephens when she's right down the street at ninety one point nine Case Web Radio Stevenson And now I'm here now now I'm doing

our podcast in a hotel room. Couple of girls. Okay, so you have not only the podcast, but you also have another podcast, right, Yes, I do one with Brandy Cyrus, who's Miley's older sister. It's called Your Favorite Thing, and it's like the dumbest podcast in the world. Where we just promotion, dude, I know. But like every podcast is the dumbest podcast you ever listened to. If you only do podcasts with famous people's siblings, Yes, that's true. What's

another famous sibling? I can get you find somebody home? Man? What's Paul Rudd's sister's names Not Chris not but the other one, Mike. I think his name is Luke. I think I should know that. I should know that because that's Brandy's brother in law. But whatever. Um, but you enjoy doing both equally. Your favorite thing podcast is just us talking about whatever our favorite things that week. So it's like binge worthy stuff, music, news, whatever. It's just

escape into. There's just so much crap and negativity in the world, so that the idea of the podcast. Yes, yes, like you're this guy over here, um, so we we just wanted to do a podcast where we just talk about what we like in the world, which is like a weird thing because it's so easy to talk about what we hate. Right, So that's that podcast. And of course, can you give me an example right now? This is funny,

but not funny. I have been binging the Ted Bundy I almost right, I almost said that for you, I almost said, like Ted Bundy, yeah, it's got It's not everything because like when people died, but like it's my favorite thing because it's so good to watch. Right, it's fascinating because that happened when we were young, but we weren't yet. We weren't old enough to understand what was going on as he broke out a jail twice. What a genius after and he planned it. Spoiler alert everyone,

spoiler by the way, haven't been following Teddy? We're doing that funny though, you watch these things just like when the f said the the O J. Simpson, Yeah, like it was so well done. You like, what's going to happen? Everyone know what's going to happen? Was dude, he breaks out of jail one time, and then you'd think the second time they'd be like, let's just keep unlock and keep no no go through because he has great bone structure and good hair. They're just like letting him do

what he wants. Zac Efron, where are you at? Not not there for it? Have you heard that Netflix has asked people to stop talking about how hot Ted Bundy is? Disturbing it is and I had a weird googling of the Melendez Menendez brothers. Yeah, I got. I went down the rabbitue like thirty five minutes into Ted Bundy. You're like, oh, like this wasn't a killer. This was like a super creepy he was doing the first time the term serial killer was bless you. Right. Also, did you guys see

that thing where it was like posting all of their horoscopes? No, oh my god, obviously I was very into it. It posted like every horoscope of every serial killer. There weren't any scorpios. I just want to say that what was the number one? What's a Honestly, they're an I'm not even being like psychoed. There was a lot of Sagittarius and a lot of you know, who's a sage? Who? You know? My girlfriend love that show definitely, so yeah, she'll kill me. It's fine. I'm totally I'm totally cool

with you know what's funny? I posted it and a bunch of people came into my d ms and we're like, oh, really, because like I'm a Virgo and I I was like really, because you're getting mad at me. Ted Bundy's a Sagittarius. I don't want to say it. But how does that make you feel a little close to home? Female and male? How does it make me feel? Absolutely? Sagittarious men are way different sagittarious women. Yeah, anyway, I did one time.

I will never do it again. That's all. Well, aren't you glad you told us that you're watching Ted Bundy? So anyways, my podcast is a super fun time. Where are we talking about serial killers? That's kind of the idea. Let's get back to you. Well, let's do it. Where do you see this going? Like? Do you want to be the Ryan Seacrest? Do you want to be um? Do you want to be a host? Do you want to be? Like? What where do you want to go

with your radio career? I get that a lot, like people trying to make stereotype I guess, or like a like equate you to other people. And I don't know. I don't want to be the next Ryan Seacrest. I don't want to be the next Chris Harrison. I want to be just me, Like can I just be the thing that I But is that hosting TV? Is that That's what I mean? Like like doing a Ryan and Kelly? Is it doing a you know? Yeah, I like hosting stuff like I get the question a lot, do you

want to be an actor? I do not want to be an actor. I live with an actor, and it seems like the worst job in the world. Like it's enough just to be me. I can't imagine being other people. Like how crazy is that? Like I gotta I gotta pretend to be someone different than men. This is already too much. You get to escape yourself. I don't even know how you do that. I don't know if the does this when you guys are together. But I'll just

be walking through the house. I hear Janna just talking out loud, and I'm like, huh, you're talking to me. It's like looking at the wall. But she's really just reading lines. Do you have to run lines with her? And he? Are you good at it? Okay? So I love you so so. One of our good couple of friends is Trevor and Alex and Trevor is an actor. He's on this show called Magicians, and he came over and he was like, dude, I got a new game.

And it's called the two and a half minute Actor and all the two and a half second actor and all it is. It would be like you set the scene, and it'll be like this just sucks because this is radius. You can't see us, but it'd be like, um, you just found out that's your mom cheated on your dad, and so then you have to like and it just do and have seconds of that one thing just like so then you do, and it's really fun to do

with actors because I'm not an actor. So then so I overdo it right, My girlfriends like, you're horrible at this, but also not the worst at this. Yeah, Mike is. Mike is incredible at reading lines with me, like I actually enjoy I'd rather self tape and put my audition on tape because he's so great. He gives more than but tell him about that one time we were reading that audition scene, so we were he was supposed to be like my war husband and I'm his wife and

go ahead. It was actually like Dwayne Johnson like you're the rock. Yeah, basically it was the rock. They should just give him part to me. But it was some military thing and I had to scream some tramatic line like my men needed me, and then I go I needed you, And every time I did that, he just started and it took us like hours to finish that. Literally, we were in the laundry at the old house. He's moment I needed you to be like balling, crying, and

he just couldn't. Every time, every I've only done a couple of times, but every time I do run lines with her, I will do the total whole thing where I'm like, that's not that funny. If it said this, this would be funnier, and I'll like to start rewriting the script and they're like, I just know your role, buddy, just say what's rented And that's fine. By the way, for everyone listening, um, Wells is dating Sarah Hyland, who

is a star of Modern Family. So how is that dating such a I mean, she's on one of the most famous shows on TV, So how is that with dating such a famous Later, I don't know. I guess it's weird, but it's not. I don't know. Props to Modern Family and ABC. They just sign on for an eleventh season, so everyone's are excited about that. That's amazing the fact that it's so really weird. Like, I don't know, I don't know what your show was growing up, but

for me it was Seinfeld. A lot of people was friends you know, there's a lot of those shows, and it's weird when you're like living in the middle of it. When you're around, like when you're living in the middle of the storm, you don't realize how crazy it is. But Modern Family is like a Seinfeld right like the last decade. Absolutely it's gonna be it's a big bang, like it's a show, like it's huge, and while she's doing it, like it's cool and like I love the show.

I think it's funny. Uh. I don't think I realize how impactful it is because we're living in the middle of the eye right now. You know. Um, obviously it's it's an amazing show and like it's changing everything and it'll see it'll be interesting to see like what happens going forward. Um, but like I don't know, Like you've met Sarah, Like she's a huge dork. Like so when you asked me, like, what's it like dating uh an actress? I think, I don't know. I'm dating a huge nerd.

I love her to death a year and a half. So is she the one? Oh for sure? Yeah? When's the rain coming? Don't I don't know about that. That's a lot of confidence around that was really sweet. That was very genuine, So Ted Bunny, no, no, no, no, no, no time about feeling bad for you. But also I just bit my lip because I was gonna say something me and I was like, nope, Janet, censor, I want to hear not to you, to my husband. We don't

need any more bad comments one of us. No no, because I'm oh, I thought that was Oh my god, I thought that was Wayne. I almost died. Sorry, that's my brother. Sorry sorry I thought Wayne Gretzky just walked in. But it's just wells brother, Brett, Brett, it's not the great one. Kid is really sweet and Sarah is lucky to have you because you are a great guy. So thanks for coming on the podcast. You guys listen to

his podcast it again Broadcast number one. Uh all. Then i'd also do your favorite thing, and thanks for coming on one down dude, Thanks for having me. It's been fun. Also, we're supposed to play golf and build. No, I didn't bear. We didn't come up till today? Did you text him? Yeah? I said, And I said, dude, we're not coming up till Friday. Okay, so I had said that I wanted to talk about something, not trying to bring it down at all, but I something happened last night and obviously

scared me really really bad. So on the plane, um this morning, when we're flying here, I basically asked Sarah and Mike if if I should talk about it, A and B would I get sued if I talk about it? Because because I literally said techt Samy like one over here will So I'm not be hearing a story in a moment. No, Well, because I didn't want. I don't want this to be slander because this isn't about slander. I'm not trying to and I'm not even gonna say

because I just I'm not saying the company. I'm going to post the photo on Instagram so you guys can see it. Again. I'm not doing anything because I did talk to the company after it happened, But you're gonna post the photo. I'm going to post the photo I because it needs to be seen because I don't want them to take my word for it. Are you Are you opposed to me posting it a little bit? Why? Um? Because I'm it has nothing to do with the company

or you're doing something wrong. It's just more of like I get your get your motivation to do it, but it almost seems because it was such a kind of a scary moment. I kind of said that the plane, it kind of like seems like so personal as weird. Does this sounds feel like that picture someone's kids? But the picture is kind of like what's disturbing? But like the first word that popped in my head was like gruesome.

Does that make sense with? And I don't. I don't know if I want to picture even though it's it's because because of the situation is disturbing. Like Sarah said, that's hard to look at that, and that's okay, and if you don't want me to then I won't. But it's so bad that I think you can describe it to a point where people will like be like oh a stage like yeah, because like when you showed me

that I was not right, well I'm not okay. And every time I keep staring at it and I sell because like even when we weren't together, like an hour like two hours ago, I was in bed and I was like you, Like I just was like you play that what if game? Over and over. So basically, uh, we went to bed normal bedtime. Um, and at two thirty in the morning, I woke up in complete panic. There was no tears from Jason the other room, but I just had the mom panic. I then, as a mom,

had the mom panic, looked at the monitor. Amy, let me show you the photo. I looked in the monitor and this is what I saw. That is the swaddle completely over his face. I mean so over his face that it looks like he's being suffocated. It looks like

he's being suffocated. And I my heart. I mean I I jumped out of bed so fast and rain in that room and I was like, he's not going to be breathing when I opened this, this this swaddle, and I unvelcried it and it's like he went He was like like it came to and I mean, I I in the Michael's is everything okay? And I just was like I just started like bawling because I was like, no, like and I know, first of all, I'm explained because like for me, I didn't like explain how you I know,

I swaddled him correctly. I'm if it was anybody else that'd been like, well you didn't swaddle him right, I am a prince cent. Sure he has the appropriate size for his weight. It was velcord right, because I'm you know, I mean Michael. Every single time I'm like, no, Michael, like this is like you know, or the whoever. I'm like this is like I'm because I'm so terrified of that. And so I know that as the mom, I swaddled

him correctly. But he has really bad reflux. So what he does is he scooches a lot, and with this company and the swaddle, it basically rode up on him all the way. He literally had what was that like that much on just the crown of his head showing, and because I swallowed him so tight, it had the part that was vlcoed around him rode up because he's scooted down in it. And I reached out to the company. I said, before I go off on you guys on on you know, on social media, I want you to

explain to me how I did everything right. This is the perfect size that aby like to them and they're like, oh my gosh, we're so sorry. You know, maybe he's not supposed to be meant to be swaddled anymore. I'm like, he's ten weeks old, like babies are swaddled until they're five months old. Like this, this extra layer or this thing that goes over him is so I don't even

know how to describe it. It's like a it's like just a rap where he's in a zips like pouch basically, and then the swaddle part is just it's just yeah, almost separate from the actual swaddle. It's only attached on the back, so it just goes over top of them. Well, it got because because of the material, because of the fleece material, it doesn't stay put like any friction with fleece. It moves. Well that's what she said that the lady that was talking to me on the Instagram said it's breathable.

I said, absolutely not. That is police material. There's a percent not breathable. So the fact that they're promoting safe sleep it just makes me so angry. So in the middle of the night, I was like, I need to make a safe swaddle. Long story short, I talked to my girls and there's a there's a sleep stack out there called the b that I want to promote every single one of you guys out there. So whatever swaddle

you're using, please please please do your research. Because I was not the only person that had this because I went on the reviews and I showed Sarah and Michael the reviews. Other people have had danger danger danger on the same pictures of how Jason looked, and I just, I mean, can you say that coming because I don't want people to be This isn't like a bashing thing.

And you even said on the plane, You're like, I'm literally concerned for like other next child, like because you went and looked at pictures and there were other pictures of little babies that this had happened to, and you're like,

I don't want this to happen to anyone else. So like, this isn't about going on like I hate so and so it's like, you know you you care about other people, and that's what So Karen, who invented the woundy it's w O M B i E. She same thing happened to her things swaddles were either riding up over their face or they were choking on the zippers. So she made this swaddle it's a zip. You guys please look it up because her story was incredible. So she basically

made the swaddle. And I've done so much research, has you know how many hours about swaddles and which ones are actually safe, but that that is the one that all my girlfriends have used, and then kind of hearing Karen's story too, and how you know that was happening to her. It's just it's terrifying. I mean that was the I'm still sick to my stomach about it, because what if what if I did not wake up? What if I did not have the mom instinct? What if?

And then what if it is making because like obviously I don't know, but like that mom intuition is real, Like that's insane that you just like popped out of bed, like it's crazy and I woke up like like something you knew. That's just such a Is that the picture from the monitor? Would you say? Yes? That is? I don't want anyone thinking that if you do decide to post it that you let no, no, she screenshot the

photo from the moment absolutely was recording. So I just want everyone to know to not write us and go oh no, no, no, no, no no, no, of course of course not. Yeah, that was from the recording on them. So yeah, terrifying. Yeah, I'm well, I'm glad you got it off your chest. Yeah, and like got it. I just but I just want everyone to be do their research and get the woundy because that is that's safely. Just do you guys, just some moms, do your research

and trust your mom instinct, I guess is the bottom line. Okay. So I'm obsessed with insta cart because, honestly, with two kids, it's so hard to go to the grocery store and I can be a little lazy, which is crazy. Did I even say that? But I sometimes can be a little lazy grocery store. Yeah. I have a hard time grocery shopping. Yeah, But here's the thing with instacrat, we don't have to. And it's also great too because we

I'm happy, Thank you for putting this together. Yes, the questions for us Sarah, by the way, I do have some emails. Yes, we can just do like quick questions because you posted that on your new wine down. Oh yes we have a wind down UM in wind down podcast Instagram, so you

can go at a wind down podcast. Is that what it is? And you just did a question and a bunch of people just like wrote so I thought you could do just like a little rapid fire. You guys becauld like answer. This is on the Instagram. They wrote this night and they we had a little had a little fun the um one of the you got a lot of questions asking what is like your date night go to or what's like your ideal night date night?

Michael's ideal date night is without me, I know, I know Mine's mine super simple with dinner in a movie, just because I love going to the movies. I have to agree with that. Jenna, she enjoys that, but she likes things spiced up a little bit more, some different, more intention I've been wanting to get fancy lately. Do you think you'll get fancy on Valentine's Day? Because that was a question. So Valentine's Day, we're actually going to Nashville to go look at our house. So we're going

to dinner with a few of other friends. I'm really excited about that, but I think for a date night for me would be uh, Honestly, I will say this. Michael did by far the sweetest thing the other night. He said, we've been passing each other a lot lately, and he goes, he got home and he goes, hey, will you come sit and have a glass of wine with me on the couch with the fire on, And he goes and let's just talk about what's going on?

And so cute. No, it was just like I meant the world to me because he's like, we sat down the couch or drinking wine, the kids are in bed, and he's you know, he's like, so tell me what's going on in your world? And I'm like, you know, and he's like no, but he's like, what's Like, what's going on? I said? And we end up having just the nicest connected just talking about you guys. Look, they're so in love for everyone listening. I'm not sweating. I haven't had a moment. I'm so happy with them. I

actually think what happened. I think that was last week has been a good thing. Janna seems a little bit like she's let go we drink. I think that we actually wind out know what I have, But I know it's just it's just about I always say, like in the beginning of a relationship, it's the little things, and at the end it's a little thing, you know what I mean, Like it's always a little bit that truly meant the world's we had the best because I think with having two kids and just like our lives, it's

just we're constantly passing each other. We always have the same conversation, the same conversation, how did he eat? How did you go down? How how was picked up at school? And so now it's it was just thank you for that. I really appreciate that. That was my ideal date night right there? Um there were what about you? Is you just getting dressed up? Kim Kardashian No, no, no, no, no, no no no. I love like laying and like in netflixing, I love post my fancy friend all my mom friends

and Nahville like my best season. Nashville are like, oh, you're with your fancy friends, and you know, but I'm like your fancy friend, but I feel like for time just like I just want to be I just want to Like, bet, don't say that because all my Nashville girls right now literally want to live like vicariously through you because they just think you're so fun. And do you think it's fun not having a ring? Anyways? My next Oh, you got a lot of these like um, how for both of you? It was like, how do

you like move on from a relationship? Like what is like that stuff that helps you get to like that next like maybe forgetting them or like being able to be x. I mean yeah, it was just saying like how do you what is like your main thing that it's like, Okay, I'm gonna move on, Like today is

the day I'm gonna move on. For me, it's time and setting like letting yourself be like Okay, for the next these many hours or these may days, I'm going to sob cry, bitch about it, like I'm going to just do all these things and then then be done. So you have to give yourself like a time limit for me at least, Yeah, for for me, for the male perspective, it's for me, it's always been. It's still

time but then it's healthy distraction. So it's I would just been all my time with my boys and just be with them, wear them out constantly, and not even like going out and going crazy, but just being together and hanging out and doing whatever. Just yeah, I feel like your friends help you through everything. It's so true.

But I remember when we broke up, Mike, when you hung like the first thing to do is hang out with your friends, and I'm like, man, he's like happy hanging out with friends, and I'm like in my hotel room, but I wasn't like I was outside the bar we went to, just miserable, like man crying Tom. That's the thing. I feel like you're big in New Year's Eve. I think that guys don't like Greep, but I feel like guys are like maybe like we do. We just try

to distract ourselves. Well. Also, you just got a lot of questions. Just clarify. Since you're moving to Nashville, are you still going to podcast? We are absolutely still going to podcast. How are you going to do? What they were wondering? We're gonna fly. We're gonna fly to l A once a month to meet with our amazing celebrity guests, and we'll have plenty of choose from the Nashville too. Absolutely, so yeah, it's gonna be one. Oh and you guys, next week we've got one of the f g ls.

It's going to be huge. Flora Georgie the line for those who don't follow. And by the way, Ethan's already freaking out. I'm really really excited. Contain your excitement for now, but yes, let's do some emails. This one comes from April. My question is what do you mean when you talk about intimacy versus sex? Can you guys explain that a bit more? Do you mean, like intimacy is being romantic instead of just well um sex to well finished? Or is intimacy and sex like four play? I don't talk

about this that very often? Is intimacy and sex? I am? I am on behalf of April. Uh is intimacy and sex like four play and sweetness? What's the difference between intimacy and sex? Is a question? Might do I take that? M Yeah? For us, the difference is intimacy is for us, it's like intention so it's intentional time. Like Jane was just describing, like us sitting down and just having a

conversation and connecting. It could be you know, uh, just something together that it's not just a natural routine type of thing. It's something you do together. You initiate it, you intentionally do something. Um. Yeah, I always thought that intimacy was sex and you can only get intimacy from sex until I met you and you realize that intimacy and sex do not equate. I know not. I got

to learn. And that's the coolest thing is I got to learn truly what what the difference is and how you can have intimacy through holding your hand, Intimacy, through having a conversation, intimacy through having a fight in a relationship. Intimacy, like is so much beyond just having sex. So I know, I'm thanking you for that. So I think that's you're

talk But then I'm excited tonight. I'm just saying, like you really it's not just about having sex, because I think for me it was just about intimacy is sex and so when I you know, but again, but we're learning obviously with intimacy and you know, our relationship, but it is it is. It still can be sex too, but just in different ways. You have to make it it also depends on the person's love language too, just

like for yours. Physical I know we talked about love language is a lot, but because they're very important in our experience. And so if this guy, if April, if you know one of their love languages a sex, then is that love language? I mean physical touch? Physical touch. I was gonna say, I think there's a different term love languages. Sign me up. That's Jane's number one. It's going down though. It's because let me just tell you, remember how I said that my husband used to not

want to have sex with me. Now he wants you all the time. And it's Jane has been turning me down. We're just such a different like yeah, he gets me, like when I say good night, time like I'm done. Like when I say good night, it's over. Well I am now that he's like mr like jackhammer over there. I feel like it's talking about sex in front of our daughter. I feel I'm mom and dad have sex, Sarah, Well, really, yes, really? Are you still texting Tie? What is he saying? He's

not making sense? Is he coming up right now? He goes, Okay, get it coming out? I said, come? He goes, Wait, are you alive. Why because I've been here for so long. I'm like, yeah, this is the room, get up here, coming you guys. He's so scared. He's so scared. Well, hopefully one day we can get tired in the podcast. Maybe when he proposes to you coming, he does it with a microphone with one more Oh yeah, oh this is good. Let's do it. I like your voice you read.

Thank you guys. We have fun today with you. It's been really fun. The scorpio and I found that outso like things just totally changed. We just get each other on a whole different level, different level. We're not serial killers. This is this is from anonymous. Uh. My husband and I have been together for twelve years, and initially I didn't want to have kids. Fast forward to now. My husband still doesn't want to have kids, but I have that overwhelming feeling of my inner clock and I want kids.

How am I to address the thought without being pushy? Also? How can my husband become comfortable with the idea? So, how do you? How do you bring that up? That makes me? How do we how do I deal with that? How do you deal with that? Honestly? So, he doesn't want kids and she didn't either in the beginning, but now she does because will change. And I always say, it's so hard when you get with someone like m But the hard thing is is that she changed her mind.

And it's okay to change your mind, but you also have to know that, Like Michael, if you said I don't want kids, and if I was, but then I changed my mind, it's like, well, you you told me straight from the beginning that was you do not want kids,

like you told me that you were up front. It wasn't like, well, I don't know maybe, so that's that's not Yeah, it's not it's it's hard, like you can't doubt her or you can't, you know, give her any crap for wanting to change your mind and have kids, Like we get that, but you cannot blame her husband for you said he was upfront and honest and this is what I want and don't want. But I think it's like one of those things that it's like if you love me so much, you know, but that's not fair,

I know. But I feel like that's probably where she's like coming from it. She's probably like, look, don't you love me enough? You know? If it's what I want? Because I mean sometimes that you know, I feel like everyone goes there where it's like okay, da dada, but like do you love me? Because if you love me, which which makes sense, but when it's something like that that's discussed at the beginning of a relationship and then

all of a sudden it's changed. Sort of similar situation with our friend who that happened to, and she ended up leaving her husband after fifteen something years, end up having She was yeah, she was in her mid forties, and she ended up adopting because she said that it would just be you have to. You have to ask herself, would you regret not having kids at the end of the day, and she that was I said, would would you rather not have kids? Or you know, you have

to you have to make that decision. And she end up at another question that you guys got, and it was like how do you deal with the guilt for not It was it was a woman who was like, I don't want kids, and I feel like people are always guilty me because I don't. Honestly though, like no one I don't. That's that's your decision, That's what I'm like.

I feel like it's not fair like if it's something that you want, like, it's not do you just because you don't, And it's not when people say, oh I don't want kids, it's like, okay, cool, that's that's I might not relate to that I might not there shouldn't be but that you shouldn't be guilted. Yeah, And there's no judgment, not at all. And you shouldn't feel bad about that. You should be like you should what makes

you happen? Yeah, exactly because some people some people have kids, didn't want kids exactly, don't like their kids, or you know, some people have kids who shouldn't exactly. So it's like people I do miss Julian and Jason, Well I miss Jason, you guys, I walked in the other day in Julie was like sah, and so that makes me missir. I just want to be loved. We all just want to be loved. We also want to be loved, all right, guys.
