Introduction

A holistic look at high frequency and hydrogen peroxide. History of high frequency. Nikola Tesla, who was an engineer and inventor, is best known for bringing alternating current, AC, electricity, to the world. Without that, we wouldn't have the use of the many conveniences we have today. He also invented the violet ray, the high-frequency machine. In the past, the medical profession treated infections and enhanced the healing of wounds with this device. Its use was called electrotherapy.

Manufacturers stopped producing it because making products for the war were necessary. Decades later, pharmaceutical drugs replaced their use. The Food and Drug Administration, FDA, banned it in 1950 because manufacturers claimed it alleviated many health concerns and some may have misused it. The aesthetic industry has been fortunate enough to have taken advantage of the medical system's decision to avoid this technique.
