There are a wide variety of views on what a Christian is. A dominant view is that a Christian is a person who does good works and that these good works merit eternal life. This view is sometimes drawn from the parable of the “Good Samaritan.” In this talk we look at this view to see if it stands up to biblical scrutiny and address the issue of what Jesus is really teaching in this parable.
