For our second episode of the new spinoff podcast, we're talking about 2 pilot movies intended to go to series that never got picked up, both different reworkings of the same basic premise, created by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry during the 1970s when nothing was going on with Star Trek and Roddenberry was looking for his next project. The first, Genesis II from 1973 and the second Planet Earth from 1974.
