Today's episode comes from Ryan Stewman's book "The G Code."

If you've been struggling trying to get things cranking in your life, it's probably because you weren't aware that AVERAGE HATES WHO YOU'RE BECOMING and will stop at nothing to keep you the way that you are.

All right. 3, 2, 1. Let's get it. Today I want to talk about something that's gonna really hit home for you, and it's called the force of average versus the farce of average. Now, this idea came from Ryan Stewman's book the G Code, and he talks about specifically in one of the chapters. The force of average. And bro, when I read it, it just like totally clicked for me because if you've ever tried to level up in any area of your life, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

You make a decision, whether it be that you're gonna get in shape, you're gonna make more money, you're gonna get serious in life, or just in general, you're gonna get serious about life. And that's when it happens. It seems like the distractions just hit so much harder. The excuses get louder. Why? Why does this happen? Because average hates you.

And today I wanna break down how the force of average works, how it fights against you, and more importantly, how you can flip the script and turn it into a farce, a fucking joke. So let's get it. Life is really comfortable, man, when you're running on autopilot, nothing catastrophic seems to be really happening for you. I mean, bro, you could pay your bills. Your boss isn't in your mouth. Your family seems to be okay. You go out and eat a few times a week with the family.

You watch TV and you drink with the fellas on the weekend, life is fine. But then one day, bro, you decide to wake up, you catch a glimpse in the mirror, whether it be a physical mirror or life's mirror. You really take a look and you don't like what you see. Love handles the debt stacking up your career stagnant while other people, people who started before you. Or now passing you up, and that's when life hits you. I call it that. Wait a minute moment. And you're like, wait a minute.

What the hell happened? I got comfortable, I got complacent. And in that moment, that's when you decide enough's enough, you put a stake in the ground and you say, mm-hmm I'm gonna get in shape, I'm gonna pay off my debt, and I'm done. Playing small in life, and this is when the force of average shows up. Now, this is where most people fall because the second that you decide to break out of average, bro, you become a threat not to anyone else, at least not yet, but to yourself.

Because see, average. Doesn't wanna let you go. Your average self is gonna start whispering. Sleep in. You could start on Monday. Ease up, bro. There's no need to go so hard. You look decent, you look okay. Just buy bigger pants. You could double up tomorrow, which you won't . Who knows you better than you. You know you It knows you, and it knows exactly where to hit you.

And if you're not aware, it'll drag you right back into comfort, right back into mediocrity, because average is a force until you expose it for what it is. See, action turns the force into a farce.. And once you break free of this, and I'm telling you bro, you stay at it, you break through, you're gonna see how ridiculous it was all along. You weren't created to be average. You accepted average, but not anymore.

Now, lemme tell you this, there may be a lot of fires burning in your life right now. You can't put out all the fires at once. He who chases two rabbits catches none. You're gonna burn out and burn up, and then you're gonna fold back into the person you once were. Your life is built on five pillars. I call it the five F's, faith, family, fitness, finances, fulfillment. So let me ask you this. Which one are you bleeding the most? And I get it. There are probably many areas that need fixing.

But I only want you right now to pick one. Once you win that area, then you can transfer the wins. That momentum that good force. You could transfer it elsewhere. So what is the thing that's the biggest energy drain? The thing that just eats you alive. The one that just you kick the can down the road. Whether you eat too much, whether you drink too much, whether you just relate it to other people, whether you sit there and sulk and vegetate on the tv. I mean, what is the thing?

There is something all of us have that's like, that's the thing that just condemns you all the time. That's your Goliath. Run at that big bitch, go all in and fix that. I want you to be simple, ruthless, and relentless. Look, life is simple. It's not easy, but you can do things that make it simple so just pick three to five non-negotiable things like, I am not crossing, I'm not gonna negotiate with myself. These are the things I'm gonna do every single day.

To stop the bleeding and start progressing. And I want you to focus on the consistency over the intensity. Chase the effort, not the results. Until is my timeframe. The results are gonna come when they need to come. That's it. Intensity's gonna come naturally anyway, but it will not come if you have it built in the consistency first. So if your battle is fitness, which is what most people's is, go to bed early.

I. So you can wake up early, wake up in enough time to feed yourself something positive. I do 15 minutes of random reading. This episode that you're hearing right now is a result of what I read this morning, and I read something like that. It triggers an idea, the force of average. I'm like, holy shit, I've met the enemy, and the enemy is me. And so the force of average is always gonna whisper to you. So I saw the force of average. I'm like, hmm. How can I make it a farce?

How can I make it a fucking joke? So if fitness is your thing, and fitness dude is your key pillar, I would say you attack that. Because if you hit your fitness, if you get your fitness right, everything else in your life is gonna be right too. So 15 minutes of random readings, feed yourself something positive. I. write at least one page every single day. This one happened to be three pages. Hit the gym. Listen to a podcast while you're at the gym to sharpen your mind.

When you're on your way to the gym, feed your mind something. Stop watching what everybody else is doing and start creating your own life. I'm here to tell you average will fight you. Average is gonna say that you don't have time. You know you're gonna eat today average. It's gonna tell you you don't have time to, to meal prep. It's bullshit. All of my meals take about 10 to 15 minutes to make you find the simple things to do. Okay? Make it simple. Stop making things so fucking complex.

Average will tell you, you got too far to go. Look, it's not even working. Just because you can't see change doesn't mean change isn't happening because see, things are happening within you that you can't even see yet. You got deficits inside that you can't even see if you turn, if we turned ourselves inside out, we'd probably be shocked at the damage that we've caused. But the good news is.

Is you can fix all that instantly change happens immediately the results take time, but change happens immediately. And the whole time, man, the force of average is gonna say, bro, it's not working. It's gonna say, you're doing all this for nothing. The force of average is going to sound logical. Again, who knows you better than you? So it's gonna sound logical, it's gonna sound reasonable.

All the excuses double up, reschedule, maybe next month, the beginning of the year, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's gonna do all those things. All of that sounds logical. It makes sense, but don't fall for it. It's a force. Make it a farce you're gonna feel that resistance when you feel those excuses starting to creep in. Ask yourself, is this the force of average talking? See it for what it is and do something different. Just instantly change the environment. Just do it. Do, bro.

I don't care if you just drop down and bang out five pushups, you broke it. You broke the force of average. Make it a farce of average. Look, this is a never ending fight, but the sooner you see average for what it is, a joke, the sooner you're gonna win. Alright, let's get outta here. Keep it simple. Keep it moving. Never settle. Stay a savage. Let's get it.
