More resources will not make you more successful. Becoming more resourceful with what you already have will think about that for a second. No one, and I mean no one that you idolize had everything that they needed before they got started. Not one single person. They worked with the limited resources that they already had mixed together with a naive belief that they could do it. And when people on the sideline looked at 'em and called 'em crazy, they got started anyway.
And this brings me back to you. Let me ask you something. What are you not starting? Simply because you think you don't have what you need. Let me set the record straight. That's all bullshit. Back to my original point, no one, and I mean no one had a complete success starter kit before they even got started. They built it how? Three different ways. Number one, they used what they already had. They got creative, they got curious. They had a duct tape, plywood and hammer kind of mindset.
You remember that when you were a kid. See, your parents didn't take you to Home Depot to help you build a a Ford in the backyard. You used old scrap wood, rusty nails that you pulled out of the wood and reused, and you nailed that shit together. What you didn't have nails, you duct taped it and you made it work. That's the kind of mindset that I'm talking about. Number two, through the reps, they became more efficient.
Your dues are in what you do, your DUES, the dues you pay, the reps are in what you do. You gotta pay your dues and it's doing and doing and doing so through the reps. This is how you're gonna be more efficient. See those people that have gotten started, they used what they already had through the reps, they realized. What they needed, what really worked and what didn't work because what they thought they needed or what everybody was telling them, what they needed was total bullshit.
They used what they already had. And this, the lack made a more c more creative. Your lack is your leverage. It actually is because it increases that muscle of creativity and curiosity and along the way, this is what builds the collaboration because you're gonna find some misfits that, that are just crazy enough to champion along with you. And help you put some shit together. This is that beautiful collaboration. think Steve Wasniak and Steve Jobs.
Two Misfits man came together, built Apple, And because they used what they already had, I. And they realized through the reps, they got more efficient. And through the reps they became more efficient. Eventually they got what they wanted. And beyond, I've gotta emphasize and beyond.
This is huge because when you get started, when you put your head down, when you knuckle up, when you throw your whole heart into it, not waiting for permission, not needing validation, not asking for opinions, not needing someone else's help, you just go, here's the kicker. Your original dream.
You're gonna realize was too small because, see, you were looking at it through a narrow lens, and you realize now that you're putting in the reps, now that you're just getting after it and you're building this thing, it gets wider, it gets deeper, it gets more vast. See, the lens that you were looking at was narrow and limited because you were shaping it based on your past and your present, and now you're building your future.
When you get more resourceful using what you already have, your vision expands, your future gets bigger, deeper, wider, let me put your mind at ease on something, everything that you think that you need, if you instantly got it, number one, you wouldn't even know how to use it. You couldn't even maximize it. You'd be so overwhelmed and stuck not knowing where to begin, and out of frustration, you'd revert back to what you already know anyway. And number two, the moment you got it.
You'd want more. If you instantly got what you wanted, you'd want more because that's human nature. We always want more. We always want what's next. We always want what someone else has, so why not earn more by using what you already got? You don't need more resources. You need to become more resourceful and as you do. Your resources will come. All right, let's get outta here. Keep it simple. Keep it moving. Never settle. Stay tough. Peace.
