Episode 12 - ‘You get the minutiae’ with Christophe Ridley

The boys sit down with professional Rugby Referee Christophe Ridley for this week’s special episode where there is a focus on the opening weekend of Six Nations action. Christophe talked to the Podcast during the recent break in English Gallagher Premiership action and spoke about the use of TMO in Rugby comparative to VAR in football, the duty of care you have as a referee and the relationship between Rugby clubs and the RFU officiating panel. The boys then quickly dissect Scotland’s historical win at Twickenham and whether Italy are still the right ‘sixth’ Nation. Boys move on to talk about some of the action (or lack of) in the recent Transfer Window and make some calls for who some Premier League clubs should have signed. We close the show this week by discussing England winning in India; Joe Root double tons, Jimmy Anderson reverse swing and whether Bess and Leech are good enough to see out the series.
