Today on What's My Frame? I'm joined by Actor/Director/Producer Jerry Ying. You may know Jerry from his roles on Dexter, How To Get Away With Murder, 2 Broke Girls & Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Or you may know him from his prolific work as a producer and creator. In 2017 Jerry founded Hero LA, a modern production company with a creative, versatile and diverse vision. Hero LA has made a name for itself in those 3 short years; most recently taking on the uncharted territory of remote filming and production with Quarantine the series. Quarantine came out of you guessed it quarantine and a group of like minded creatives wanting to create in these uncertain times. But they didn't stop there, they also partnered with the SAG Foundation and donated all proceeds from the series to the SAG Foundation's Covid relief fund. Today Jerry and I talk about the lessons he's learned along the way, how he built his creative community and what inspires him. Please join me in welcoming Jerry Ying to the show!
