Elizabeth is leading on the next generation of work to support the United Nations. She has served for several years at the U.S Mission to the UN in New York. In recent months her attentions have turned to Covid-19. Elizabeth has spoken out over President Trump's decision to leave the World Health Organisation and has been part of this year's biggest annual gathering of world leaders at the UN General Assembly. In this episode Elizabeth discusses despite the pandemic being at the forefront, the world's green agenda also needs to take the lead. Elizabeth claims to have raised over $200 million for the UN Foundation's Covid-19 solidarity response fund which benefits the WHO.
