Polarized America During the Revolution

Our speaker is H.W. Brands who is a Professor of History at University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of the book Our First Civil War: Patriots and Loyalists in the American Revolution. There have been disagreements in our politics since the beginning. And if you think that the politics are polarized now, imagine what it was like during the American revolution, when the losers really did have to move to Canada.
