Episode description

For centuries, the story of Jesus has been told through sharp, awkwardly shaped, and broken pieces of colorful glass. You can only imagine the complexity of each completed stained glass window, while it is being carefully and painstakingly hand-crafted. The necessity of light to finish the magnificent image brings about the anticipated beauty of stained glass. Yet, the completion of the stained glass window only tells half the story.

We are pieces of glass. Broken and out of place, with a seemingly incomplete purpose. Yet, if not for our brokenness, it wouldn’t be clear that the light which illuminates us is Christ’s, and not our own. When we put ourselves in God’s hands, the master creator can remake us into something more beautiful than we can ever imagine for ourselves.
