After Message: Persecuted Church Sunday

Yesterday, we took a brief break from our series, "The Gospel of Mark", because it was the National Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians. Vernon Brewer, founder and president of the World Help organization, was our guest speaker. He gave a heart-wrenching and convicting message about modern-day persecution. We have the freedom to worship Jesus and read the Bible anytime we choose here in America. Not all Christians have that freedom and that could be hard for Western culture to understand.
