People Pleasing. Putting everyone’s needs before your own. Saying yes out of guilt or obligation or pressure. Settling for less due to fear, lack of confidence, or for others needs. I’m guilty of all of this. And because I’ve lost the life I had, and there’s a new one being created - I’m acutely aware of how my mind is working to talk me into jobs, places to live, environments, friendships and more as a way to make something happen and just settle, because “it’s better than nothing “.
