Episode description

Jase Te Patu is a yoga and meditation teacher with a difference. He’s using traditional Maori legends and concepts to improve the lives of children as young as just one year old.

Jase is the owner of Awhi yoga and wellbeing, which is based around the Maori framework of hauora. He’s a conscious thinker about the way we live our lives today, and how things like technology, social media and our awareness of mental health are impacting us all.

This is a fascinating discussion that almost verges on philosophy at times. Jase talks about growing the courage to speak his truth, and the breakthrough of being able to speak it despite the fear of what people might think.

Jase’s message is actually really liberating and freeing. He’s plainly a great person to be educating the next generation, although his practical approach to wellness is valuable to people of all ages. Hope you guys agree!
