Episode description

Sheri Prentiss, President and CEO of S Phillips Consulting and former Susan G. Coleman national spokesperson, joins us to share how she found meaning in her story of overcoming debilitating adversity through faith.

Sheri knew she wanted to be a physician since she was just two years old. Realizing that vision, she has been a physician for the last 30 years - getting there with honors. She practiced clinical medicine for 16 years, before lymphedema left her disabled from performing the clinical functions of her job.

“I knew that I had this knowledge, so what else could I do with it? As I began to pray, I realized, there are still organizations out there that need a healthcare consultant, one that can give them a minority point of view from.”

In addition to consulting on drug testing policies or procedures for employee health programs, occupational and environmental medicine; Sheri helps create marketing materials designed to make more of the black and latino population aware of certain health conditions and/or medications that could improve their health.

Tune in to hear Sheri’s incredible story of faith and service to others through the trials she’s faced and lessons she’s learned from.
