14. Dr. Michael Thomas: Succeeding From Your Baseline, Pt. 1

It took you a long time to even decide that transformation was necessary, and now that you said “yes,” why is it taking so long?   Why do you feel like you should have just stayed where you were.   After all, things were okay.   Stop listening to the enemy!   

In this episode where we are joined by Dr. Michael G. Thomas, Jr. AFC®   as he shares his wisdom about succeeding from your baseline.   Dr. Thomas is a lecturer at the University of Georgia (UGA) and the founder of Modom Solutions. While at UGA, he created financial literacy programs for children and adults. He also gave a TED Talk on Financial Empathy.  Dr. Thomas says that “Money and Wisdom are the building blocks to financial empowerment”!   Join us as he reveals the link between baseline and finish line and its impact on your transformation.   We all want to get to the finish line right now, but we have to learn to recognize where we are, give ourselves some grace, then keep moving.   Listen as we discuss:

• Be willing to set a new baseline with each win as you are getting closer to your goal each time

• Be willing to spend more time on the small successes than worrying about the finish line
