Hello, how are you doing today? The laws of probability dictate that it's 50/50 if you're having a good day or not ... or does it? How reliable are these laws of averages? 

Well, pretty reliable when it comes to the probability of the next pope being female, but as Sandi suggests, perhaps some kind of job share might work?

How difficult can it be to canonise a woman - and is the process as painful as it sounds? 

Has there ever been a woman in the papal role? Well history would have us believe not, but evidence suggests that Pope Joan could have once been head of the Catholic Church, and being a martyr to the cause of celebrating forgotten women of history, Sandi brings her to life for us.
