BREAKING: The Delphi Murders - "Today is the Day"

13-year-old Abigail “Abby” Williams and 14-year-old Liberty “Libby” German were best friends and 8th grade classmates at Delphi Community Middle School in Delphi, Indiana. On February 13th, 2017, the two girls took a hike through Delphi's Monon High Bridge Trail. Libby's sister waited to pick them up at the designated time, but they never showed up. The following day, their bodies were discovered down a steep embankment near the creek's edge.

Libby German miraculously pulled out her cell phone and recorded an interaction with a mysterious man who would end up becoming her killer. With her fast thinking, she provided the first and only leads to investigators.

It's been 5 years of heartache, tragedy, dead ends and surprises. Finally, last week, a suspect was arrested.


This episode is a re-telling of the case from the beginning, ending with this week's news of the arrest of Richard Allen. The next episode will be a profile on the suspect, covering everything we know so far.
