Father, in Jesus' name, what a privilege it is to be before you today. And Lord, we get to do this, not as a cliché, not as a title to a podcast, but as a mantra for our lives. Lord, we do get to do this, and we do it for your honor and for our friends listening. Lord, bless them, encourage them through all that is said, all that's spoken, and questions that rise. So we thank you for them, in Jesus' name. Amen. It's Wednesday, March 4th, 2026. We get to do this. This is episode
number 23. We get to do this. Yeah, that's right. This is our midweek catch up everybody. At least that's what we call it. You call it, we get to do this, a podcast. You like those pickles, huh? I am excited about these pickles. Louisiana dill pickles. Yeah, these are from Jody. Sweet and spicy. Dude, I'm telling you those are so good. Great combination. Even the onions and the peppers, you can eat all those. Oh yeah, yeah. I'm fired up about it. How you doing, brother? I'm doing
actually really good. I feel so much better back to life. Colors back, energy's back. You know when you're really sick, you start to have these weird thoughts like, will I ever feel good again? You're really sick when you're feeling that. That was happening. Even Annette jokingly said, because I happen to have my 38 Special laying out on my nightstand. Just in case. She said,
why don't you put that away? I said, what? So I had my 38 special which is a very nice birthday slash anniversary gift for somebody I really appreciate and love and value. Actually is my favorite gift ever. Really? Yeah, because I can actually carry it with me. It actually fits in my front pocket. Oh, yeah. No, you can fit it in your pocket. It's great. I love it. So anyway, I had it laying out on the nightstand because I usually put it in a drawer, but I just had
it out happening. She said you might want to put that up. I'm like, what? Just in case you go psychotic in the middle of the night. No, in case she does. She said she felt so bad. I said, you're kidding, right? She goes, eh, sort of, you know. But you know, when you get really sick. Yeah. So our doctor, we went and saw our Dr. Marcy. You know Dr. Marcy. Yes, of course. Last week. And she said, oh, we all got off easy.
You only had it three weeks. She said, there are people having this six and seven weeks, whatever this is. She said, it could be rhinovirus gets in. Part and mixed in with flu as in rhino as in nose or in rhinoceros. I have no idea I just shook my head like I knew what she's talking about But what well what it is, it's when it
gets in your chest. Yeah That's where it gets that your bronchial tube infected and that's what we both had So that's why we we felt worse the last half of it than we did the flu part I remember you had this kind of like relapse I'm good now, though. I'm back. It's funny you say that because I had a thought. In fact, I texted you this, just so you know, Pastor Jimmy and I, we have a morning text. It's a check -in. It's good. It's the first thing we do. And I
woke up the other day. I usually set my alarm for 630. I woke up at 530. And I woke up from a roaring tinnitus, also known as tinnitus, we're not going to argue the point, in my left ear. And I've had this for several months. Now you've had it for years and years. But it wasn't painful, but it was roaring. And so I'm just like, all right, Lord Jesus, heal this. Let me go back to sleep. And I actually did go back to sleep and didn't even hear my alarm because that's
on the left side. barely heard it and like, okay, something's wrong. And this roar was here. And the first thing that went through my mind, just to sort of hook into what you said, during COVID, there were several people who got tinnitus so bad, they ended up taking their life. I remember hearing about that. And all I could think was, Lord, let this not be like that. So now, lucky enough, you put the hearing aids in. Yes, we're back to hearing old men hearing aid talk. And
that really alleviates it right away. It's still there, but at least you can hear. You're not focused on it. And nobody knows exactly where this comes from. You can go to audiologists. You can go all over the world and say, we don't really know. So I think you and I both share the belief that it's something in your mind or in your brain or brain issue. So it eventually cleared up, but it took several hours. It's scary. It is. Because it can be debilitating. I have
friends that have debilitating tinnitus. They go to our church and they struggle. They were hearing, not AIDS, they plugged their ears during worship because loud noises can... you know, make it worse. But I've done a lot of reading and research. I'm sure you have too, because when you do and now your whole feeds fill with offers to fix your tinnitus with cream. My phone is ringing like we got something for you. Home remedies and eye ages and everything's a miracle
cure. It must be a big moneymaker. Have you found anything that actually works? Well, what I did notice is that it's definitely connected to my TMJ, which is not a big deal. Just got busted up playing football. TMJ. TMJ. It's jaws. It's your jaw alignment. Oh, did you ever break that as a kid? Probably. So when I, you know, being a kid in the years, when we grew up, you broke things and cut things and just kept going, rub dirt in it and keep going. You'll be fine. Rock
fight. Oh, someone got a hole in their head. Oh, it's the end of the rock fight. Oh man. Killjoy, buzzkill. So I grew up that way. So I know playing football. racing motorcycles, wrecks, all the stuff I've been through, things happen. Things get out of alignment. So TMJ, you can test it by, if I jump my jaw out forward, it changes the tone of the tinnitus. It literally changes
it. That's actually a good thing. Because what it does, it narrows it down to what one of my primary causes is, and it's this misalignment of my jaw. Everything's off. You look pretty handsome. I feel good. I'm all whacked. I don't see your jaw in this line. I've had a lot of injuries through the years, but typical kid stuff. But I know how debilitating it can be because mine is like a tone, but a very high pitched tone. Oh, that's irritating. But it doesn't get
loud unless, now if I've had alcohol. Sometimes it'll get louder. It does, and I've read about that as well. But really, if I've been in a loud environment, go to a concert or something and forget earplugs, I wear earplugs at a full -on concert, 112 decibels. As you should. I do. But even that, just those loud environments can actually cause it. trigger it to get louder. It's like it's trying to compensate or something. And just not to belabor the point, because people are
probably like, OK, get out of here. For me, it's when it's really quiet. It's when it's really quiet, then whoo. And for me, it's just like a roaring sea. Wow. I will say this. The hearing aids have almost minimalized it to where it's already there. So I'm very happy about that. So consider hearing aids for the men in your family. It's very important because us guys will keep trucking along. We'll talk about it. And before you know it, we just stop communicating
because we can't hear anyway. I saw that in my dad. And we start to withdraw. And it's very, very dangerous. It is. So there's stuff going on in the world, brother. I was just talking to Pastor Brian about that. We had a great conversation the first day back. He was supposed to be in Israel right now with a group of 12 people, he and his wife. On Friday, I got word and thanked the Lord for intel. And that you have people you can reach out to. I reached out to Sir Brian
of London who lives in Tel Aviv. Hey, how's it going there? Man, gave me great counsel on that. I really appreciate him doing that. And then I also reached out to somebody who is a very high ranking at Dias Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. Home of the B1s, the C137. Yeah, and so that base is buzzing right now. They're even flying b2s into that base So what's going so
there's movement? Yeah, this was all on Friday morning What what cued me and I knew I knew the whole team was gonna leave on Saturday morning like fly out very early like you know 5 a .m. 6 a .m. Typical international hours And we had to make a decision quick because people were going to go drive down and stay the night before they got on the plane in Austin or San Antonio. So I was under a lot of pressure to make a decision quick. So I reached out, found out the base was
buzzing, but I also got word. Sometimes people can say things without saying things because they're not supposed to say anything. That's the best way to know what's going on. They can say things like, If I was you, I would not go to Israel right now. I can't tell you how to invest, but here's what I do. Exactly. So I had that. And then I reached out to a state representative who had been meeting with some very important
people on Thursday who will remain unnamed. And they had said to him and seven other guys that are all legislators, it's a governor. And they said to him, if you know anybody in Israel, tell them to get out now. Don't hesitate. I got I got the same. Are you in Israel right now? Get out. Yeah. Yeah, so I was so thankful that I had people to talk to that I trusted and that were on the inside. They know what's really going
on. As a pastor, as the leader here, you know, the thing you really didn't want to have happen is you call it all off and then it's a big, you know, it's like a wet fart. You're like, okay, nothing happened. Because then you just feel horrible. I know. But man, you made straight up the right decision. Thank you, Lord. Boy, but I tell you, I felt the weight of it. of that decision, because these are 12 people who've paid a lot of money to go to Israel on a big
tour. And man, we were in the blind, as apparently Iran was, too. So I mean, it's supposed to happen on Tuesday. It happened on Saturday. Boom, element of surprise. Wow. So I want to talk about Iran, but I want to kind of back into it from another direction, because what immediately happens is And particularly in Texas, the timelines get flooded with Islam is taken over, be afraid, this is a huge problem, be afraid, be afraid,
be afraid. And we've discussed this before. There is a huge difference between Muslims and radical Islam. Now, you can put whatever labels you want on it, but there have not been 300 new mosques built in Texas in the last two years. Let me just - I keep hearing that. That's because it's going around on social media. They show a map and it shows there's about 300 mosques, period, against 25 ,000 churches. And a mosque doesn't necessarily mean that there's people who want
to kill you who are going there. True. Because then you can say the thing for a temple. You can say the same thing for a Buddhist temple. I really want to be careful about. I want people to think about this because I grew up with Muslims in Europe. It was actually quite cool. When they had Ramadan, they'd invite me over to have the
celebration, the food, the sugar stuff. I even heard this morning, well, you know, there's 1500, this is now all political, there's 1500 known terrorists from Iran who are now in America. We need to, and keep your head on a swivel when our representatives are saying this. But we have to be careful because you build up hatred out of ignorance. And what's happened in Europe, People say, well, you don't know what you're talking about. Look at all the rapes and the
murders happening from Islam in Europe. I said, no, these are undesirables from mainly countries in Africa who were led in, and I say led in LEAD by the United Nations, the Office of International Migration. They specifically on purpose brought them in, gave them no integration into these countries, and you know, now they live in squalor.
Well, no, not even squalor because they get free stuff from the government, but they live in no -go zones in very nice ghettos, let's put it that way, because they have their own community and they're not integrated with these countries, and they've brought their culture with them, which is not exactly the same as radical Islam, nor are the majority of Iranians, radical Islamists or even Muslim believers at all. They are more
secular than you'd know. When the internet first kicked off, the most spoken language on the internet was Farsi. They're so connected. It's a very young country. I know this is very liberating for them, but we have to be careful to not let politics take this and scare us into voting Republican, because that's what they're doing. Vote for who you want to vote for from your biblical worldview. There you go. But not just because someone's going to protect you from the evil Islam man
who's going to come and kill you. We have to be careful of all kinds of dangers out there. Right. I'm just very annoyed by it. And when it's not this, then it switches over to military age men from China. And so I went to vote yesterday. Thank you very much, Matt Long, for giving me a good guide. There you go. I used most of it, not all, I used most of it. It's very handy to have that. I used Rick Green's and I didn't do everything he said, but I thought for myself.
It was really nice to have a guiding hand and all that. And there's a couple of those out there. And it was kind of funny because right there in the propositions, it says the state of Texas should Outlaw Sharia law. It was the last one. It was the last one, wasn't it? I think it was the last one. I hope I didn't miss one. Yeah, I think it was. And I'm like, yeah, first of all, what is Sharia law? It's not law. Anything that people might believe is in Sharia law is
by definition illegal in the United States. So this was a political Well, you know what propositions are. It's a survey. Literally all it is is the GOP survey. If you're on the GOP side, that's all that is. It's saying, how would people vote on these things if these were laws? It's a survey. It's not a law. A proposition is not a law. But it was just kind of offensive to me because it has no context. And if you ask someone, what's Sharia law? That's suppressing women. No, it's
not. It's like there's blood libel is included. There's a whole bunch of things included in that, which by definition have no basis in the American system. Right. But because we call it, they don't call it Sharia law anyway. We call it Sharia law. It sounds like law. I need my lawmakers to take care of it. So let's just calm down is what I'm saying. Calm down. It's going to be okay. Are there problems? Yes, of course. Yeah,
we need to be aware and wise. Yes. Not just informed, but wise with what we do with the information. We definitely need to be more informed. So I'm not, you know, cause then people, you don't know what you're talking about. It took 25 years for Europe to get into the position they are, not because of radical Islam, because of asylum seekers, of which I have to say the Ukrainians are the biggest problem, which is not a Muslim problem at all. You know, it's a governmental free stuff.
Come here, take stuff before our own citizens problem. We don't have that. So just beware and be on watch for people trying to scare you. leads me into Brother Reagan Green, who preached on Sunday. Just give me your thoughts about this because he was here because we were supposed to be in Israel, right? Exactly. Yeah, I really thought he did a good job. I thought he hit it out of the park. This is a 27 28 year old young
man something like that. Yeah, and He his dad is Rick Green who has started the Patriot Academy what 20 something years ago long time Yeah, and long term and so Reagan just has a real gift and a real calling on his life as a teacher. I see more as a teacher than a preacher. There's a little bit of a nuance there. And I had the idea, thinking we were going to be in Israel, to let Reagan have a shot, let him be in the pulpit. Like a guest podcast. Absolutely, yeah.
Hey, you get the microphone. And I trust him. And he spoke for our men's meeting and did a great job. The only way, it's like swimming, the only way to get better at swimming is to swim. Got to jump in. And so for these young preachers, if we don't give them opportunities to speak, they're not going to get any better. We have to help them. This is a part of raising
up the next generation of world changers. So as a pastor who's now, I've been in this 42 years, I'm 64 years of age, I'm looking down the line going, we need to raise up the next generation of teachers, preachers, pastors. I'm looking for those that have that mark on their life, and Reagan's got that. I'm looking at him going, you've got to do a podcast. I'm going to approach you about it. You don't know it yet, but I'm coming for you. His time may be crazy taxed because
they just had their second child. He leads what they call the scholars, the students out of the Patriot Academy. He's over that, doing all the coordination. He can fit in a podcast. He can fit one in. We need voices like his beyond the pulpit as well. So I pulled a couple clips because I really like what he did. This overarching theme and I just pulled some short clips. So please go to The Bridge website. You can watch in the Godcaster. In fact, you can watch the YouTube
video. You can listen to it. It's well worth it. Actually watch it because there's some some visual stuff in there. And it was about great awakening, great deception, great wrestling. And I want to talk about it because it really hit home for me in really the stuff we talk about here on the podcast. So this is him starting off about a great awakening amongst young people that he's seeing in America. There's also a great awakening happening right now. I can personally
attest to this. I'm seeing this in the life of my scholars. I'm seeing this around the country. There is a great awakening that is happening right now. God's spirit is also on the move. And we can be excited about that. Amen. Yes. And what really classifies this great awakening for me, what this means, what I'm seeing is that people are starting to own their faith. Just last week, you baptized three people. It's like middle -aged men. They're starting to own their
faith. People who grew up in faith, in homes that knew the Lord were Christian homes. That's great, but I'm starting to see young people start to really own their faith for their own. It can't just be this thing that they were taught from their parents. It can't just be this atmosphere that they grew up in. It has to be something that is truly yours. And I'm seeing that, and
it's beautiful. But a part of this awakening, when people start owning their faith, what happens is now they start genuinely asking real and serious questions about that faith. This was so good. That was great. And interested, just a side note, I was talking to a big time Hollywood producer the other day, not dropping a name, but he actually has been listening to the No Agenda show for years. And, you know, turns out he was the guy that did House of Cards and, you know, huge movies.
And he hates Hollywood. He's moved out of Hollywood. He has a ranch. And he called me about something unrelated. And I said, brother, you know, have you ever considered doing something for a Christian audience? He says, oh man, this is so big, it's so huge. And so, well, how come you haven't done anything? Well, you know, blah, blah, blah. So we're talking, and I said, you know, the audience is here. He says, you know, it's interesting
you say that. My 13 -year -old daughter, she attends a homeschooling class, I think, online. For her birthday, her 13th birthday, she wanted a Bible. And he said, it's not coming from me. She goes to church with her friends. He said, I look at this Bible. It's like it's got notes and underlines and it looks kind of like a middle school girl's diary, except it's not. I said, this is what's happening. And he recognized that.
And then I told him he should probably option the book, which is what you say in Hollywood. He said, what book? Well, there's this book that has like 66 books in it. It's a really good... Anyway, but this is happening. And when it's happening to the parents of people who really are in, he's not in Hollywood anymore, but part of that, unprovoked, if I can put it that way, that is something amazing that's taking place.
And so Reagan identifies this and he simultaneously identifies an angst and what he calls the great deception. In the midst of a great awakening, there is also an equal and opposite attempt at a great deception. So while God's people, while we're waking up to the spirit of the Lord moving right now, Satan is going to try to capitalize on this momentum to also deceive people and pull
people away. So listen, I'm convinced that when history writes about our time right now, this is the beginning stages of a third grade awakening. I'm convinced of that. I think that is very true. But while that is happening at the same time, there's an attempt at a great deception. So church, family, we need to be on guard for that. And we need to arm ourselves for that. Gosh, I love how our church sounds. I love the room. I heard myself go, come on, come on, good. Good word.
I know, it was me. I'm all, I'm cheering him on, you know? Of course. This is such a privilege to raise up the next generation. Such a privilege to... put fuel on the fire and let them burn, you know, and they're going to make mistakes. This is a thing when you talk about mentoring and raising up the next. We got to give them the freedom to fail, freedom to miss the mark,
but he didn't with this. He was spot on. So what made me smile is you and I have talked about young pastors using props, how you had a motorcycle on stage, you were flying drones, you were hitting golf balls and all kinds of stuff. And so he brought two kids, young men from the Patriot Academy to give us a visual representation of the wrestling, which he now, and this is the last clip, the great wrestling of the Great Awakening
and the Great Deception. And of course, as Christians, we all know that the devil is always there waiting to pounce. But the way, and so I cut out all the wrestling bit because it's very visual. But he said some things in here, and I hope that there were multiple people in our church who heard this and that it hit them, that it sunk in. Because man, when I heard this, I almost wanted to get up and say, you, you, you, you. I think I know where you're going with this.
I heard the same thing. So while there is this great deception that's trying to happen, there's this feeling of a great wrestling. When you start questioning things and you start wrestling, there becomes this movement, there becomes a motion and a game that we play with Satan. And Satan's goal is to look for opportunities, windows into your questioning, where he can trap you into dangerous ideas and then sweep you over into
disbelief. And now Satan is dominating you. Family, that's what is happening actually right now to a lot of young people too. They are getting swept up into deceit. They're getting swept up into nefarious concepts Gnostic ideas sniff just nefarious and Conspiratorial speculation about events and things ding -ding as you start wrestling with stuff You still bring a window of opportunity to trap you to trap your mind, to trap your thoughts, your emotions, and then sweep you into disbelief.
And again, it's not that hard for him. It's really easy to get swept up into disbelief when you're not rooted in a relationship with Christ. I love that he said conspiratorial because that is what you see everywhere right now. And what Satan has done, the enemy has And part of that is, a large part is thanks to COVID and, you know, and lockdowns and all kinds of related measures that were put upon us. People have, I think only 17 % of the United States population trust the
government. It's pretty much an all time low. This happens all the time. Not that it was super high 10 years ago, but, and so with the advent of social media, This is the enemy's playground. He's right there on your slave slab on the phone. And I have an example which I brought because this was just like, oh, wow, this is such a perfect one. So we struck Iran. And I monitor all of the, I try to monitor what's the narrative. What's the narrative from the television? What's the
narrative from the president? What's the narrative from the Democrat party, Republican party? What's the narrative online? And the predominant narrative online, including Tucker Carlson, which is just, he's so disappointing to me, is this is Bibi Netanyahu drawing America into the fight. Drawing them in and of course the conspiracy then goes on to say, well, that's because Every single member of Congress has an AIPAC representative. They're controlled by Israel and the Epstein
blackmail. You go down this road forever and ever and ever. And so we heard the president very clearly saying, help is on its way. We're going to do this. We're going to do that. that this is the moment for you to take your own destiny into your own hands. And then our Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who I hold in very high regard for a number of reasons. I think especially after the Charlie Kirk memorial service where he just was preaching the gospel like I had no idea,
Marco. And he's a smart, smart man. He said something that immediately was taken into the conspiracy hole and I want to give a different take on what happened here. States conducted this operation with a fair clear goal in mind. I haven't got a chance to see a lot of reporting. I don't understand what the confusion is. Let me explain it to you and I'll do it once again as clearly as possible.
Perhaps you'll report it that way. The United States is conducting an operation to eliminate the threat of Iran's short -range ballistic missiles and the threat posed by their Navy, particularly to naval assets. That is what it is focused on doing right now, and it's doing quite successfully. I'll leave it to the Pentagon and the Department of War to discuss the tactics behind that and the progress that's being made. That is the clear objective of this mission. The second question...
Just hold that in mind. He's saying the clear objective is to stop ballistic and missiles and potential nuclear to protect our troops and our Navy. He's not saying anything about regime change or anything like that, which is already different from what the president was saying. The president was saying, help is on the way. We're here to take care of you. We're going to help you take destiny into your own hands. This is already a change. That is the clear objective of this
mission. The second question that has been asked is, why now? Well, there's two reasons why now. The first is it was abundantly clear that if Iran came under attack by anyone, the United States or Israel or anyone, they were going to respond and respond against the United States. The orders had been delegated down to the field commanders. It was automatic. And in fact, it
bared to be true. Because in fact, within an hour of the initial attack on the leadership compound, the missile forces in the south and in the north for that matter had already been activated to launch. In fact, those had already been pre -positioned. The third is the assessment that was made that if we stood and waited for that attack to come first before we hit them, we would suffer much higher casualties. And so
the president made the very wise decision. We knew that there was going to be an Israeli action. We knew that that would precipitate an attack against American forces. And we knew that if we didn't preemptively go after them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher casualties and perhaps even higher those killed. And then we would all be here answering questions about why we knew that and didn't. So this immediately was taken as the Israelis were going with or
without us. And they drew us into this because we knew that there would be an Israeli attack. Yeah. So if I could see, and right. And for a moment, I'll be honest with you, but I'm like, what was I wrong about this? This, this is, I had to really think about it and When you objectively look at it, Israel going alone with or without America is ludicrous because they don't have any of the hardware that they need to continue that. We had an entire double armada in place
for several weeks, so this was all set up. But I realized once it got into the politics of it, that typically if you start something aggressively as the United States president, you need to immediately within 48 hours, Congress has to get the to enact the war powers resolution. And the war powers resolution take has is for Congress to take control. And the president then has 60 days to do what he needs to do and then 30 days to unwind it.
But Congress can shut that down. Now, if we just decide to declare war on somebody, that needs a vote in Congress regardless. So I'm thinking, what is going on? Why did Marco Rubio say that? Because he's not stupid. He's not going to say that to, you know, because he knows that this is going to spark conspiracies, witness Tucker Carlson. I won't even play him. It angers me so much. What they did is they registered under UN Charter Article 51. The political piece of
this action, was Israel struck first. Now, of course, the plan, we had these plans. Israel, you strike first. Then we are automatically in defensive mode. So there is no war powers resolution. The president is not hampered by Congress. And he knows that there's too many Republicans both in the House and the Senate that they would shut this down. So what you're saying, this wasn't planned overnight. I believe this is planned before he even took office in January. And now
we get to the oil piece. So, there's no coincidence that Venezuela came just a few weeks before this. Who was the number one client of cheap sanctions and therefore ghost oil from Venezuela? I'll skip to the answer, China. 75 % of what they still had, was going to China illegally sanctioned by the entire world, not by the US, but by the entire world. Because you're screwing with the price of oil. It's a problem for everybody. Iran, 90 % of their oil through go ships, through sanctioned
illegal shipping, going to China. China was in Iran with almost a half a trillion dollars of support with massive missiles that could take out any one of our aircraft carriers. This was known and this was set up take into that. Just I think three weeks ago, President Putin through not himself, but through his cabinet, said that they were seriously considering pricing their oil in dollars again. Remember, they got kicked off of the swift system by the Europeans, not
even by the US. And I have a feeling that. Notice Russia is very quiet right now. They're not jumping up and down. So all of this oil from Venezuela and from Iran was all being paid for in anything but the US dollar. I got to tell you, this has always been American doctrine. If you don't want the whole world to collapse when our currency is no longer the reserve currency, You've got to protect that. So there are things much bigger
at play here. Thank you to Israel for doing whatever President Trump asked you to do, because that's the fact. And they put themselves and their country and their people at great risk and great harm. We owe a dedication of gratitude for what they have done. And I hope that people take it that way. there's always going to be people who just will mock this. And that, you know, so I've been, people have been, without them even knowing it, have been helping me with different scripture.
I've got to bring some scripture in. Proverbs 9, 7 to 9. This is what I've learned what I need to be careful of anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return That's when you respond to the troll on social media sure anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt So don't
bother correcting mockers. They will only hate you I can testify first hand but correct the wise and they will love you instruct the wise and they will be even wiser teach the righteous and they will learn even more now there is there's another proverb that says you must get rid of the mockers i don't have it on on hand not quite sure how to take these two in that context other than blocking them but You know like rid rid
rid. How what is it? What is it brother? It's um I didn't write it down It's like Proverbs 20 20 verse 22 10 yeah, but drive out a scoffer right and strife will go out and quarreling and abuse will cease. So how do you drive out a scoffer? That was a question. The how -to? Yes, this was a pastor moment, a question for my pastor. So taking the previous problem into account, which I love, and I understand that, how do you drive out the scoffer? Well, it's amazing how silence
is powerful. Ah, there it is. When you're talking about deals, you're talking about business, you're talking about mastery and conversation, Silence is powerful. You know this, when you were leading a large corporation and you're in a conversation that's got a lot of weight and gravity to it and you go pause and then they try to fill in all the blanks and they play all their cards. So it's the same way with a mocker. If you don't give them attention, they run out of, they don't
have anything, no energy. Right. So always, when Annette and I, you know, through the years, being a pastor, we take hits all the time. Of course. And we've learned the hard way to, because the first thing we all want to do is validate ourselves. Validate our decision or validate just who we are, character, especially if it's a character slice. But at the end of the day, I've learned if you'll just be quiet, it's amazing how this stuff goes dormant real quick. Yeah. Mockers
enjoy the gameplay. They enjoy, especially on social media, Lord. They're just sitting in mom's basement on their computer waiting. So those two really, excuse me, really do go hand in hand. They absolutely do. Yeah. Okay. All right. Thank you. I could have figured that. The Scripture even says that if you will be silent, you'll be perceived as wise. Yes. But if not, you'll be perceived as stupid. Boom. It's a great verse.
Boom. There it is. So that was really the message I brought for today because when I heard Reagan preach And I think he really could have quite a future as a pastor. I mean, I don't know where he wants to go, but I mean, and he's young. I could call him pastor on the platform. And rightly so. I said pastor. And he grand and looked at me and then I went off mic and I said, now I may be prophesying or prophesying. Time will tell. That's what I said to him. Time will tell.
He has it. He does. And you can tell he's used to talking to a younger audience, which I actually kind of like. That's good for me. But he was aware because he continued to speak to the older audience saying, I'm trying to help you address the next generation. And boy, that was a lot of maturity there. He's trying to connect the dots between the two generations so that there's not this gap. And I love that he did that. So I'm meeting with him next week. He wants me to...
deconstruct his message. He wants to talk about it. He wants to learn and this is again a show of wisdom when he's saying, come critique me. I want to get better at what I'm doing. So we're meeting next week for coffee. I won't have a whole, whole lot to correct, to be honest. You should teach him the drone trick and the motorcycle trick. We'll get a good laugh out of some of the stupid things I did. I love those stories. That's my favorite. That's going to hurt people.
It's seriously gotten hurt. You and I consider this particular podcast really to be for our church and if it reaches beyond. It does. So we're really happy. Yeah, absolutely. Thankful for people who are listening in. But don't fall into the trap that Israel controls us. You know, this made me laugh so hard. The argument always is, well, APAC, they have a lobbyist for every single member of Congress and every single member of the Senate. Thank you, Tucker. So I actually
looked some stuff up. So their budget is, just grab this, their budget is, I think, $2 .9 million or what they spend annually on APAC. what they spend annually. And so I went and did some research on other lobbying groups that also have a lobbyist for every single member of Congress and the Senate. Surprising. You know what the biggest one is? With 10 times the amount of money, almost $26 million, National Association of Realtors. Wow. Yes. They have the federal political coordinators
program. So really it's the realtors who are running the nation. And number two, American Medical Association. They are the ones who bring you transgenderism. They're not all bad, obviously. Right. Next on the list, American Bankers Association. Wow. And these all outstrip the money that APAC spends far and wide. And then my favorite, And they are lobbying on behalf of us, the AARP, because yes, the old people need lots of lobbying.
They represent the largest, most consistent voting block, which is seniors, making their coverage extremely effective. So the next time you think that APAC controls Congress, go look at your realtor, because there's something going on there that I don't even know what they're happening. Well, I didn't see that coming. Wow. The mandate they had then was contact their assigned legislator quarterly and respond to calls for action, ensuring a local voice is always present, very influential.
Realtors are influential. You'll see a lot of realtors in local politics too. This happens frequently. clandestine network out in the open, controlling our government. Look at your realtor and get to know him. Take him out for coffee. But you know what? They do have their finger on the pulse of what's happening in the community because they're on all kinds of boards and commissions and groups. Especially here in Fredericksburg, Wendy sits on several days and she knows what's
going on. Not Jewish. No, of course it's not. So I've got this thought, put down your slave slab and pick up your Bibles. There you go. There's the thought. It's a long title, but who knows, right? It's combining several of our things we've said over the times. You've short, I really like, although that's a good, I always like the... Scripture before screens, man. That is short, that is to the point, and that just makes so
much sense. And as long as we can remember to do that, it's going to be really, really good. A lot of changes here at the church, the new life centers about to open. You've got an office. I've got an actual office, not a studio anymore. Although I love the studio. Studio is cool. But it's cleaner, if you notice. We cleaned it all up. Yes, and I'm about to bring in gear and make it a little more full and get some stuff going because we've got the young and the faithful
boys. We've got to get them set up and autonomous. And I know Reagan Green, they have their own studios, but I still wouldn't still wouldn't mind having them up here from time to time. I think it'd be great because I really feel that that there's there's people in this community, especially young people who will be great at podcasting, doing, you know, communicating their thoughts and ideas. I'm super excited about it. So can I encourage just from kind of where we
just sort of pull this into? tie a bow on it. And land it? Yeah, I can land the plane too. I can do that. Please. Flaps are down. So nose up. It's gumps. It's gear, gas, undercarriage, manifold, prop, and the S is, I don't know, I forget what safety is. There you go. Awesome. Now that's good for me to know. You'll hear that on Sunday probably. So yeah, as I think about tie this all up. First of all, there's great
hope for tomorrow. Having somebody like Reagan standing in your pulpit, I just felt like a dad. No knock on Rick, he's the actual dad, but I felt like a spiritual father watching a son grow up. I said this to the Congress, I said, hearing him speak and preach the way he did with the maturity he did gives me great hope for the future. It's so easy to go down the conspiratorial rabbit holes and just people swim in that water and you can't swim in a cesspool without stinking,
you know? There you go. And they mean well and the good -hearted people, but I get stuff every Sunday. Somebody will walk over to me kind of a sidebar and go, well, you know. It's all about to go down. Every week. Pastor, I hope you're packing your piece. This is all about to go down. I get this almost every week. And these are good people. These aren't people that are nefarious in any way. It's just they've been spending so
much time online. What's the line again? You can't go swimming in a cesspool without stinking? What was it again? That's it. I like that. I just made it up. But yeah, I'm digging it. It's true. My encouragement is, first of all, it only takes 21 seconds to change your life. Learn the Lord's Prayer. Matthew chapter 6. Check it out. and start praying that prayer over your life.
If you're listening and you don't really know where to start with prayer, let me just give you a little help because you need to be praying over the world situation, over what's going on. And the Lord's Prayer gives us this simple, super simple template. I'm going to look it up right now in Matthew 6 in my Bible. Here it is. This is Jesus and he says this, he says in verse 9 of Matthew chapter 6. So Matthew 6 verse 9 he says, pray then like this. Luke says it, when
you pray say. So it's the same thing. Our Father in Heaven. Now, I'm not going to do the King James version. No, let's do that version because that's the one I can do with you. Let's do that one, please. Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Amen. Thank you. I wanted to say it that way. That's great. So use it as a template. I mean, literally just, it's good to have a roadmap. So if you're learning how to pray or maybe you've been praying, but you're looking for something fresh, go to Matthew six, start in verse nine. You can read it, but then that's 21 seconds of your time, but then use it as a jumping off point and as a template for
other things. The first, it starts with praise. Yes. Hallowed be thy name. Father just starts off with praise. There's your praise section. Then it goes into your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That's the stuff of life. But you're also calling heaven down. Invoking is, I love that word. Invoking, good one. We're invoking heaven to come to earth, you know, when heaven invades earth kind of thing. And then the next part is just provision, God's
providence. This is my favorite, give us this day our daily bread, is guidance and provision for the guidance you're giving us. Like, whatever you guide me, I know you're going to give me what I need to go there. And it actually reads in the Greek, give us today our bread for tomorrow. It's not even about just today, it's about the future as well. And then forgive us our debts. Now, when I pray my version of it, I say, Father, forgive me for my offenses as I forgive those
who offended me. That's really more in our language. And then the last part of that is, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. and the evil one. So, it's not just general evil. It's actually deliverance from Satan. So, just let that be a template. Maybe that'll help somebody today who's trying to learn how to pray. For me, for Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory. That for me is just, He's in control.
It's all his. That's just reminding me. And just so you know, that wasn't in the original manuscript of the Bible. It's an add -on, but it's a good add -on. It was added on in the first, second century. It's in parentheses in my Bible. And that's okay. It's all good. Man, it's still, it's just a nice way to wrap it up. All right, so guys, pray. Let's pray more. Well, there's your instruction for the next week. We'll be back next week. We get to do this. Thanks for being here, everybody.
