Episode description

If there was ever a week that summed up our club, it was last week.

In typical West Ham United fashion, we followed up a dominant 2-0 victory over Manchester United with a 4-0 defeat in the Carabao Cup to Oxford United before taking a very respectable point from 2-1 down at Bournemouth to go 3rd in the Premier League.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has supported the club long enough to know this isn't anything out of the ordinary, but it doesn't take anything away from the fact it's still unacceptable to lose so heavily against lower league opposition.

Still, we're unbeaten in the league since the opening day of the season and have a huge chance to really consolidate our top six bid with victory over Crystal Palace at home this weekend.

James Jones and William Pugh discussed it all in this week's show, as well as debated the impact Lukasz Fabianski's injury may have on the side's fortunes, and Andriy Yarmolenko's outstanding form in recent weeks.

As always, it's a cracking show. If you enjoy what we do every week then please take two seconds to subscribe, rate and review us on your preferred podcast platform - we really appreciate the support!
