Season 3-Episode 26: Janet Uthman

Janet Uthman, Vice President of Cox Las Vegas joins the show today to discuss her upbringing in upstate New York when her father’s dream was to move the family to California. Her collegiate career started in finance and accounting but decided to venture in a different direction which brought her to her current career in cable tv. Janet talks about the importance of broadband internet access and how Cox has worked to make it more affordable for people in Las Vegas. She explains that Cox offers a variety of pricing options that work with the Affordable Connectivity Program, which is a government program that provides subsidies to help low-income families pay for internet services. She also talks about Cox’s commitment to providing the best possible service to its customers and how Cox employees are always looking for ways to give back to the community.
