Welcome to the WBZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. Since we recently celebrated President's Day, here's just one book about one president that is worth checking out. The title is Theodore Rex by historian Edmund Morris. This two thousand and one biography of the US President Teddy Roosevelt is a second book in a trilogy by Mars, this one covering the years nineteen oh one to nineteen o nine,

our twenty sixth president. A progressive Republican, Teddy Roosevelt was the youngest to hold office in his terms in the White House were, like the occupant at the time, action oriented. Teddy Roosevelt was a champion of conservation and the protection of land and resources across the country. He famously fought trusts and monopolies that had so often ruled the economy, and tr was certainly forward thinking when it came to labor and race relations. He was the first American to
