Jordan reveals some of the science fiction and fantasy writers nominated for a Nebula Award this year.

Welcome to the WBZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. The Nebula Awards, the official award of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, has announced their short list of nominees. The awards, happening this month, named a finalist in the category of Novels for babbel Or The Necessity of Violence and Arcane History of the Oxford Translator's Revolution, his popular writer R. F. Kang.

Other novelists include Travis Baldry for Legends and Lattes, Nicola Griffith for Spear, t Kingfisher for nettele and Bone, and Ray Naylor for The Mountains in the Sea. The Nebula Awards began in the middle nineteen sixties, and some pretty impressive names have won them, including Isaac Asimov for The Gods Themselves and Frank Herbert for Doom.
