Welcome. This is the WZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. Every one of our four seasons offers up a best of list of one kind or another, certainly true when it comes to books, so I picked one at random to share with you. This according to the LA Times the best books of the Summer of twenty twenty five,
and here are some of the highlights. Meet Me at the Crossroads by Megan Giddings, The Strangers, Five Extraordinary Black Men in the Worlds That Made Them by esco Eshan, Putting Myself Together by Jamaica Kincaid, The Dance in the Fire by Daniel Saldana, Paris Archive of Unknown Universes by Reuben Rayes, Junior, King of Ashes by S. A. Crosby,
and Flashlight by Susan Choy. Interestingly, when you look at the New York Times list for twenty twenty five summer, you'll find many of the same titles, but a few different ones. People Like Us by Jason Mott and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V. E. Schwab. It's always fun to catch the Sunday book section in any newspaper to get some fresh ideas. I'm Jordan Rich and that's the book club. WZ Boston's news radio
