Jordan Rich here latest book from Gary Goldstein, an award winning writer of film, television and theater, and it's a novel called Please Come to Boston. Memories from that song in the seventies come floating back when you hear that title. It's set in the mid seventies
with locales all around Boston that you'll recognize. Our characters are in their first semester at Boston University and the story is one of relationships between an eighteen year old freshman named Nicki, young and inexperienced, getting to know the city and upon moving into his dorm, he meets Joe, a friendly jock type. Adding to the relationship triumvirate is
a girl named Laurie. The novel turns out to be not only a coming of age story, but a coming out story, involving the complexity of bisexual relationships and how people's lives evolve over the decades through the AIDS Crisis nine to eleven and beyond.
