Welcome to the WBEZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich with part two of a list of books you must read if you absolutely love the Ocean. Credit to the website Awesome ocean dot com. The list continues with The Silent World by French explorer Jacques Cousteau, best known as the inventor of scuba diving. An incredible memoir The Silent World, an ode to the extreme sport of free diving. A book called Deep by James Nestor, speaking of Deep about twenty thousand
leagues under the sea. A classic by Jules Verne, writing about Captain Nemo and a submarine well before they became popular. A book about the Great Barrier Reef called The Reef by Lane Mcalman. Tripped to the beginning of evolution where life began in the ocean, with Aquagenesis by Richard Ellis, and The Secret Life of Lobsters by Trevor Courson, action taking place in the Gulf of Maine. For dessert, one more big classic Herman Melville's Moby Dick. And that's
