Welcome. This is the WBZ Book Club, and I am Jordan Rich here to tell you about a very exciting lady who's done her part to disrupt an industry, the healthcare industry. The lady is Kara Trott and her book is No One Alone, Humanizing Healthcare as an Outsider. She began her career as an attorney, but saw a need to help consumers in the healthcare space and founded a company called Quantum Health, which basically defines the field now
known as healthcare navigation. Her goal, straightforward and simple, has been achieved to ensure that no patient must go through the difficult health care journey by themselves, hence the title No One Alone. It's a story of great success, a business worth more than a billion dollars, with a woman at the top who hung in there to revolutionize the way healthcare is administered.
