Hello and welcome. This is your WBZ book Club. Jordan here, very proud and happy to congratulate Ellie Burke, local teacher, actress and author who's written a book called Listen, Wonder Ask, with illustrations by Luciano Navarro Powell. It's about a little girl, Nadine, who hears another little girl speaking to her doll in an unfamiliar language. Nadine asks the girl from China if she has a coming here story. She does, and the
two children become friends. Later, Yan, the Chinese girl, asks a woman who's singing in a different language about her coming here story. Simona from Russia connects with Rafeed from Bangladesh, and as you can probably guess, there's an intersection of people from different parts of the world, with children and adults doing just what the title suggests. The Coming Here story leads to the domino effect that allows people to open up and share their backgrounds and learn what it
