This is the WVZ book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. I just finished book one of the Neath Any at H trilogy, this one called Herrick's End by T. M. Blanchet, and I must say it's very inventive and I loved it. The action takes place above here in Boston, where we meet our hero Ali Delgado, a long, bullied, overweight late teenager who's never had much luck with friends. He meets a nice girl at a self help group, has a bit of a thing for her, only gonna have her
go missing, and Allie decides to search for her. Through a series of weird circumstances, Ali winds up in a place beneath our world that no one else knows exists, a safe place for survivors of abuse and torture, and a hellish dungeon where abusers and torturers from above the ground end up. His first novel uses the fantastic to critique the violence and degradation of modern society, and Alie reflects a hero we can see in ourselves. Book one in a
trilogy, Herrick's End by T. M. Blanchet, Super fun. And that's the book Club. WBZ, Boston's news radio
