Welcome to the WZ book Club. Jordan here new book by Doug McIntyre I loved called Frank's Shadow. In it, we have a college professor, Danny McKenna, who finds out that his Irish dad has died eerily on the same day as Frank Sinatra, Danny's favorite hero. Upon returning home, he realizes he knows so much more about Old Blue Eyes than he does his own father. Grasping for identity and self realization, Danny McKenna tries to solve the mystery
of who his father really was. Frank's Shadow is, among other things, an amateur detective story, as Danny, battling his own demons with relationships and alcohol, startles to uncover his father's deepest secrets, particularly what his dad did during World War Two? Was he a hero or a coward? While at the same time, the specter of the most famous man in the world, Frank Sinatra, looms over everything. We do leave shadows, not footprints.
I highly recommend Frank Shadow by Doug McIntyre. And that's the book Club, w Z Boston's news radio m
