Welcome to the WBZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. When an author the likes of John Grisham announces a new book coming out, well, that's big news for the industry and for his millions of fans. So this fall, his publisher Doubleday is putting out his latest nonfiction work called Framed, Astonishing True Stories of Wrongful Convictions. This is John Grisham's first nonfiction work since the early

two thousands, when he wrote a fascinating book called The Innocent Man. In this new one, do out in the fall, he closely collaborates with Jim McCloskey, the founder of Centurion Ministries, who's devoted to freeing those who are wrongfully incarcerated. Ten true stories of miscarriages of justice, And as Grisham says,

I've wanted to write more true stories about wrongful convictions. And he goes on to say that from a storytelling perspective, and he's one of the best storytellers around, these are incredible tales because the drama has so many layers suffering corruption, waste, faith, perseverance, and hopefully redemption. I'm greatly looking forward to his latest nonfiction work coming out in the fall framed astonishing true stories
