Welcome to the WBZ book Club. This is Jordan Rich and wow, did I read a powerpack thriller on my vacation recently. It's called Fortunate Son by Andrew Bridgeman, and it features a deadly prophecy and a conspiracy designed to overthrow the US government. We have a terrific heroin, a rookie special agent with the FBI named Emma Noble. Her first assignment is to confront a young man with shocking news that he and his brother were the victims of an infamous kidnapping.

The young man's name Ben Danvers, who was raised by a quiet couple in Vermont. The stepmother in that case, not whom she was purported to be. Turns out that Ben's real mother is about to be sworn in as Vice President of the United States, and as the inauguration approaches, a team of assassins is planning on taking out key leaders in the US government. And

that makes it exceedingly fun. This is well written and suspenseful, and I can't wait to read the next Special Agent Emma Noble story that is sure to follow. If you're looking for a great beach, read this summer. Fortunate Son by Andrew Bridgeman, The book Club. WBZ, Boston's news radio
