When it comes to science fiction, most of us love stories that are challenging, imaginative, and in my case, fun, So I have a very playful science fiction book to recommend called Cosmic Egg Inc. It's a first time novel by Marrow Andrews. A young guy, a college kid basically minding his own business, is
tasked with doing something rather astounding, saving the world from destruction. He's college sophomore Peter Kane, who, while spending time on Long Island with his aunt, comes across a strange messenger who tells Peter he's got a big job to save the world, and to help him a wisecracking dog, not a real
dog, but one AI fueled. His name is Sam, and he's the perfect sidekick with catchy one liners about pop culture that I really enjoyed, lots of jokes and lots of surprises along the way, including a very clever ending.
