Welcome to the WBZ book Club. This is Jordan Rich. A fascinating police anti hero called Marco Zorn is the creation of former Foreign Service officer Otto Eskin. Marco's the subject in several books, including the latest one called Black Sun Rising. Marco, with a military background, doesn't carry a gun, but he often finds himself entangled in trouble and violence.
The book starts with a bang, a big one, the bombing of a shelter called Friendship House, and that's simply the tip of the spear as Marco Zorn's partner is killed and he comes up against Black Sun, a Neo Nazi group with its origins from the final days of World War Two, when the Nazis could have unleashed a deadly weapon that might have changed the outcome of the war.
That deadly weapon is now in America. The goal of the Neo nazis a catastrophic attack that will cause chaos and civil war, and only one man can stop them, Marko Zorn. The book is fast paced, with an allusion to the headlines of today that makes it all the more suspenseful. Black Sun Rising by Auto Eskin and that's the book Club WBZ Boston's news radio
