Speaker 1

Welcome to the WBZ Book Club. I'm Jordan Rich. Many of you are familiar with the Arcadia Publishing group. For over three decades, Arcadia Publishing has focused on local communities around the country, small towns and neighborhoods, using a unique pictorial format, vintage photos from throughout local history, and plenty of enlightening information about people, places, and historical events in

your own backyard. Some feature specific stories, like the one I'm currently reading, Murder and Rockport, Massachusetts by Robert Fitzgibbon and Wayne Sony. Over the years, the Arcadia Publishing footprint has grown from images of America to those of the railroads, trolleys, and transportation, aviation, sports, a particular focus on baseball, and even images of more modern America. Pictures and text captured

in easy to read and affordable volumes. You'll find these books almost everywhere and certainly online at Arcadia Publishing dot com. And that's the Book Club. WBZ, Boston's news radio
