Jake + Mitch recap the first episode and future landscape for Marvel's latest television venture, 'What If... ?'. Much to their surprise, it appears as though the MCU has stumbled upon a new-to-them, vibrant form of storytelling.
One episode deep and there's already much to discuss:
Does Captain Carter deserve her own animated movie?
Are there Shuma Gorath multiverse implications?
Could this be Marvel's purest comic-to-screen installment?
Although it may be too early to tell if the rest of the season will hold water, one thing is certain – Captain Carter is fantastic. We're all-in for 'What If... ?' going forward.
