On this all-new episode of The Spindle podcast, Marc and John double their fun with a 2x7" EP from the Screaming Trees, 1989's "Change Has Come" b/w "Days" and "Time Speaks Her Golden Tongue" b/w "Flashes." Released on Sub Pop Records and produced by grunge pioneers Jack Endino and Steve Fisk, the Seattle band featured vocalist Mark Lanegan, guitarist Gary Lee Conner, bassist Van Conner, and drummer Mark Pickerel. Representing the transitionary era between the Trees' SST Records and major label run, the EP hits—folding in psychedelia, garage rock, and revved up alt-rock.
