Joe Evans is from Ames, Iowa. He found his way to Iowa City as a Walk On after growing up hoping to one day play for the Black and Gold. He talks about his recruitment, how we ended up playing Quarterback in High School, and what it felt like stepping onto the field for the first practice as a Hawkeye. He also talks about the adversity the team faced over his years in the program, including major obstacles like the pandemic, the Coach Doyle drama, and the Brian Ferentz situation this past season. How did he grow from that as a leader and teammate, and how loud was the outside noise truly.
