Episode 126: Smile 2

We are back with another TUESDAY DROP! The crew starts off discussing the issues with trilogies and sequels and why and how they miss the mark. Ivy is back to chat and he tells us about his “Wipe Me Down” cycling class. And yes the crew is is diiscussing what people are calling the best horror movie of the year, “Smile 2.” We discuss the intro was and how does the entity chooses it’s victim in a room of victims , which retroactively speaking, plays with a larger theme at the end. We have to discuss the main character Skye, played by Naomi Scott. We debate if she was working on herself truly, or not. Ivy discusses the lack of discernment between Skye and Louis and why she chose to stay with him, as opposed to leaving. We all pick Naomi’s Oscar winning scene from the film.
