#77: "Origins"
Episode description
We start off the new year by diving into the current Spidey cartoon: the 2017 series, Marvel’s Spider-Man! This “episode zero” precedes the actual series, and is made up of six shorts documenting teenage Peter’s transformation into the superhero we all know and love. And though it’s the familiar story we’ve heard before, the unique structure it’s told through definitely gives us things to chew on. Plus, we learn about the intent behind this show’s premise, and how far the pendulum swings from its predecessor.
