Episode description
There’s a lot of “yikes” to be had in the first of this utterly chaotic two-parter! A Mesoamerican artifact is stolen (er… “discovered”) from another civilization and brought to New York, and both Kingpin and Silvermane want to get their hands on it. Somehow, this results in a ridiculous number of kidnapped women. We explore this episode’s complicated depiction of other cultures, dizzying plot turns, and weirdly-constructed mysteries. Also, hey, maybe rich people are just… bad?
